The world's greatest game of "the floor is lava"
we actually used to play that game when we rented this movie
Same we called it Tremors, played outside in the yard with about 7 to 10 neighborhood kids.
1 person would be the graboid and the safe places would be on anything that wasn't the ground. When the graboid got you , you were it. People had to change spots every 30 seconds.
We also played Jurassic Park, with one person controlling the gates, 10 runners, 1 Raptor.
Lot of fun in the early to mid 90s running around outside
@@Kruppt808 right in the feels , god how i miss this movie along with the 90s era !!
I like how intelligent the Graboids are. They are never fooled by people screaming. They always wait for rhythmic sounds on the floor.
This movie is a perfect example of how you can turn the most stupid idea into a good story if you know what you're doing. Pacing is perfect. Good character development with zero backflashes.
Perfectly said.
I agree with you! I absolutely loved/love! Not the same film, all the way around, but I've always thought of this like I do "Jaws"...only they're fictional creatures that burrowed underground! Jaws in my opinion, was quite a bit better of a film, but I still love it! I was 2 years old when this came out, but I'd assume the people who saw it when it 1st came out were pretty paranoid....too some extent, while walking around lol...kida like jaws did for a body of water! Who
R u know when I can come over to your email address please send the details of your day and time works for you to meet me at the same place as last week
That's what's I'm talking about I hate movies with all them flashbacks!
My favorite part was everyone minus one guy actually had a god damn brain and made reasonable decisions!
The acting in this movie is so good. Every idea seems organic and on the spot. Acting at its finest
lol what?
@@i.george2321 what don't you understand?
Tremors is a flawless movie.
1:43 "awww....eat it!" he said, not moving his mouth.
I love how Earl instantly turned and asked Melvin without hesitation
"Hey, Melvin! Ya wanna make a buck?"😜
"Aww, eat it!" 🖕
The camera zooming out to show how far away the bulldozer was located was great filming.
3:33 best friends in a nutshell
I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and it's still awesome today!
I just realized this month (January) marks this film's *30th Anniversary.* Holy hell, has it really been that long?! And I was born in 1993!
"But we can't all fit on the bulldozer."
Great contribution, Miguel.
Damn it Miguel.
@@mauricioibarra701 Miguel best Tremor character
after Burt of course
he had some great ideas
Old 977 cat...its a tank lol
one of the best scenes in the entire history of Hollywood.
"Val stop... they're coming... don't move"
Last movie I saw as a kid in Arizona before moving to Indianapolis when I was 10. Still a favorite.
RIP Fred Ward 😭
Best line i've ever heard
Val : Good luck S***thead
Earl : Don't worry about me jerkoff
😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite movie scenes of all time after he chains it up and then slams it in high gear and yanks the throttle wide open.
Great movie with practical effects and no CGI
With the whole arsenal, grabbing a flare gun? I mean I love this scene, but a flare gun?
Hey we got a plan.....well that's a hell of a long walk. Hey Melvin.... wanna make a buck?
6:40 Way to go Val!
My favorite movie all time! Kevin Bacon is the best ever! The river wild, 13 ghosts, flatliners, hollow man, the air up there are perfect movies.
He wasn't in 13 ghosts
@@chumline577 mandela effect
Man i love this movie so much.. Never gets old
WHAT A MOVIE
Finally I found what model Cat it is, it's a 977K.
Melvin would have made a better decoy
He'd probably give you the finger as well
Good thing Flex Fape wasn't around back then. Val would have been toast.
5:13 and 5:28, imagine if that was you standing there
What Val did to Earl I have a best friend like him I'm always looking out for him like brother......brothers would die for each other for the other one to live
It funny how in later movie the just use Rc cars and a some C4 to handle them.
Well, this was their first encounter with them. By the second film, they know what they're doing.
@@Lycan4 And that what makes it gold
Which is something I’m not too keen on, since the first movie showed they were smart enough to adapt to the humans’ tactics.
@@shadowdramon01 as did the granoids when they morphed into creatures with legs & heat seeking ability.
I always found it strange how they kept saying there were only 2 graboids left at this point in the film, yet if you have 2 of them (1 at the store and 1 at the house) chasing this little tractor, and yet theres one thats been at burt and heathers sinking their truck, wouldnt that mean theres 3 left instead of 2? Theres no way, the one at burt and heathers can move that fast to join in the chase tractor if there was only 2 left
Its the one thing i can never understand about this film
Fread Ward (warl) is so much handsome 🙂🙂
Who else spent years wondering who Melvin lived with??? I've read since that his parents liked to travel (Vegas, mostly) without him if anyone was wondering.
I always Thought he was Nestors son
@@johnstjohn1987 So did I😃
@@clevelandbci9562 wow
Super movie sir
The first movie was great then it became a sequel one after the other water downed versions that sucked.............
Cat 977k weighs 19 tons, not 30.
Did you have to look that up or did you know that off the top of your head?
Tremors: the birth of shai-hulud
How do graboids oxygenate ? They rarely come up above ground and there is no oxygen in the soil where they roam
Plis full movie
I like how Melvin's dad was just eaten alive in front of him and the guys are still giving him shit
That wasn't his dad
@@buster3041 I assumed he was because he was so upset when he died
@@thereddrob well I imagine watching someone get eaten alive like that would cause anyone to get upset
@@buster3041 So Melvin is just some random kid living in this town by himself? that makes no sense, buster. Hey everybody no one listen to buster, buster is a liar
Cut to commercial on USA network
Can't look at him the same way after what he did to those kids in Sleepers
Ending clip music?

Imagine if these things we're real
I lost count how many times I've thought of that lol
This year is so cursed they could really be real and appear.
@@isag4411 that would suck
But I mean, we have solid ground nowadays, and great technology so I think we will be fine :)

The first movie was the best but after that the damn series went to hell fast
The second one wasn't so bad, it's pretty good as far as sequels go. Only when they got to #3 did it start to get bad.

Tremors 1 and 2 have the same relationship that Terminator 1 and 2 has
