It’s so good to be back here!! Meet my new bestie ‘Alaska’! 😍 Many of you guessed it right!! Tomorrow, I’ll release a new blog on www.itchyboots.com where I explain in more detail why I chose this bike and not another adventure bike 😋 LET’s GO!!
it's the pragmatic choice.
I like the looks of her, better than the 400 rally.
What happened with Dhanno (the bike you left in Peru)?
Awaiting your write up on 'Alaska', the Honda Rally 300L.
Welcome back again dear...Congratulations for ur new bike n best of wishes for ur new adventure ahead...Love from Kapil Tyagi...India
Good to hear your back on the road again with a new motorcycle. I wish my father-in-law was still alive to see your new episodes. He passed away this past January and loved watching you. He was actually buried with one of your signature "Itchy Boots" face coverings and always supported you and bought your merch... RIP Roger Schmidt
Condolence man.
@@metalsadman I appreciate it.
My condolences. My mother also passed away this year on mother's day. She wasn't a fan but it was nice keeping up with Noraly as we also live in South Africa.
@@paulodeoliveira3368 artık anneler günü senin için acı bir gün. Başın sağolsun ve Allah annenin ruhuna merhamet etsin 😢
I express my condolences
Greetings from Texas, I found you about a week ago (Sept. 2022) and have been binge watching Season 1, 2 and 6. I'm not a motor cyclist but I can't stop watching Loraly's exploits around the world. She is amazing in her own right but taking us along on her CZcams video journey reveals the best of her. I am 80 and I feel like I am her phantom sidekick enjoying the world and her amazing personality. Many have said she should be recognized as a world ambassador and I agree. Thanks for being the delightful influence that you always seem to be. I'll be watching. Best wishes Loraly and "Let's go".
Me too. I'm not a motor cyclist but love her adventures. Not keen on the moto heavy series.
NORALY!!!
Try bald and bankrupt from the beginning. Its incredible.
@@jeanpaulfelix4095Bald and Bankrupt abuses women and young girls. Look into it. I quit following him when I found that out.
I think I've rewatched this video about four times. It's the new bike enthusiasm. Love it to death
I bought the CRF 300L this year, i weigh 110kg and without any suspension mods we have been on some crazy offroad/onroad adventures, having said that I would have bought the same bike you did had I been able to get one. On your way to Alaska you have to come through Prince George, British Columbia, Canada I am a huge fan of your channel! If you need a place to stay, my family, and my door is open for you. We will have the kettle on and a warm bed and fire ready to welcome you. Anything you need we are at your disposal.
Likewise at our house near Whistler, BC. and Vancouver if you need a maintenance break. Hard to say which route you'll take north from Mexico ; Bee line up I-5 or # 95, or more interestingly to Grand Canyon then north thru Moab to Yellowstone , into Alberta to Jasper then Hopefully Jasper to Prince George.
As you make your way north, to Alaska, having lived there for 27 years I can highly recommend a publication called the "Milepost". I'm not sure if they have an electronic edition yet, and the hardcopy may be a bit large for your travels, but the nice thing about this book is that it has information about every "road" in Alaska, mile by mile. Things such as points of interest, fuel (as you've seen from your travels, fuel is not always available when and where you need it), lodging etc.. I am so envious of your adventures and am enjoying traveling along with you on your life journey.
I used Milepost years ago before internet was available. It worked wonderfully.
Paul J.
If you buy the book, you get access to the internet copy free. I am planning my trip to Prudhoe Bay in May-June and that book was the best planning decision I made.
It is awesome. As we traveled by truck and camper I as passenger kept up on what was next to see. A great thing for you to read the night before to have an idea of what is ahead on the AK Hwy, if that is the route you take.
I would suggested him some heated handlebar grips you'll need them in Alaska
@@edwardakin7243 And seat. Keep your core temp up, when the legs and arms are getting cold.
How could ANYONE NOT LIKE YOUR VIDEOS!!?!! You have set a fire in me Noraly!! Let the adventures begin….
Hi Noraly, i just wanted to say i love watching your adventures through the world and thanks for making us feel as we were part of your trip, that's how it makes me feel every time i see you.
Much love ❤
Outside of family members there are few people I have been so excited to see again! I love following your adventures.
"Good morning internet", long time since I heard that phrase, but now shes back again. Let the adventure begin. It´s so nice to have you back again.Mike / Sweden
Noraly,I had participated in ur 65,000kms. journey through the Americas with u & it had been an exhilarating, beyond words one.also I salute the way in which u have faced & tackled the obstacles, hardships with courage & heart.I also respect the skills u have gained through these awesome continental journeys. It's has been a valuable experience for me.looking fwd for ur future endeavours.
Noraly, I'm 70yrs young and I turned to the X300 Versys from 750 & 1000cc Aprilia's in 2018. Haven't regretted it one bit. I'm having a ball touring with it. This summer with a friend I went to Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. Averaged 64 mpg. Never wanted more power, stayed away from interstates. Your going to love it. Looking so forward to seeing you again. God bless you. On the rear shock, try HyperPro, not that expensive. I got one for my X300, much improvement.
Just came back to watch episode 1, as her actual entry into Alaska was posted today. What a long trip! Amazing. She made the right motorcycle choice.
Same to me. I came back to this first stage of Season 6. And after some months, thousand of km on dirt roads and mud trails, it's sure this bike was the right choice ! And... 3 000 000 views for this episode ! 👀🤙
Welcome back, Noraly. The excitement in your voice is clear and I'm sure all your fans are excited! Let's Go!
You can't go wrong with a Honda in my opinion. Started out 50 years ago on a Honda CT70 then to a ST90. I've been riding the same Honda XL250R since 1984 that I bought new and it has over 20,000 kilometers on it. It's never once failed me or failed to go where I wanted to go. A couple years ago I added another Honda when I purchased a new XR650L and it's been amazing. Relatively light weight and powerful as far as I'm concerned. I use it for trail riding as well as longer distance trips. A trip to Alaska would be awesome so I hope you make it this time! I also think riding the TAT (Trans America Trail) would be awesome.
The bike shop you purchased Alaska from has a huge inventory. In Oregon where I live the local Honda dealer is basically out of bikes and has no idea when they will get any. They are struggling with spare parts too due to supply chain problems. Man I hope this mess gets straightened out soon. I look forward to living vicariously through your videos! Keep up the great work.
Well said mate. I've got a 250 Degree (called a Dominator in U.S. I think) She's done over 100,000kms and not a single issue so far.
Have had Hondas since the early 80s. From CD, XR, MTX, VFR, CBR and VTS. The best there is! Tried other brands like Yamaha (better now than 20 years ago, perhaps even very good) and would not touch Euro or American bikes even if I got one free. Honda all the way and never in all my years been let down. After the NC750X DCT at the moment as it is perfect for my needs. Wouldn't mind Noraly's latest but the Rally is not sold in South Africa. She is a clever girl and I believe the 300L Rally is the best adventure bike a single rider could buy (public). Now for my 'Honda Wings" tattoo....
I have a ER6n with 75000km, Honda is not the only one who make great stuff.
The most important thing is maintenance, if you keep it right, it won't go wrong.
I started out 55 years ago on a Super 90! First bike I had ever ridden at age 12. Never looked back and have been riding ever since. Our local dealer seems to have a pretty decent Honda inventory. He’s here in Middle Tennessee, I think it’s one of the largest Honda dealers in the state.
20,000 clicks in 42 years....476km a year? Don’t strain yourself mind.
This Netherlands looks like Legoland. Even the cows. Everything just so. Love it.
Thank you for sharing your adventures and travels. It continues to provide me encouragement and want to ride more. An inspiration to ride safe and enjoy life on two wheels.
Stop off in Texas on your way to Alaska and I’ll throw some parts on it haha. For real though you can change the rear shock and keep it low if you want. I’m working with race tech for my crf300l. I’ve got a custom shock getting built and a spring with revalve kit for the forks. The suspension is silly on these 300s.
Gone up from the grom ey. Lets see if we can bump this up.
Let's have a Texas 300L meetup for Noraly!
@@nielsdebakker3283 uh the Grom wasn’t my first bike lol. I had a few before that including an R1. Plated wr450f sm, Xr650r, you should see my MT-07 Adv!

Yes please come Texas I would love to show you parts of south Texas.
Ahh, fantastic to have you back. I hope you and Alaska have an amazing adventure for season 6. I hope you can see from most the comments, how much we, your viewers, enjoy these adventures through you. Thanks a mil for taking us along.
I started to watch your videos one month ago. I'm from Argentina, and I lived in Utrecht in 2019/2020, so much good memories watching the streets I used to ride... I'm almost crying. Not much to say, awsome channel, incredible content and videos, buenas rutas!!!
Love the way you talk and express yourself.... and your constant positive attitude and sense of humor....your blue eyes and facial expressions had me at Hello...!!⚘
Lovely to see you again, congratulations on your new bike! We’ve missed you!
She has 3.5 million comments on this season alone. If she took 30 seconds to read each one and worked 8 hours a day doing so, she would be done READING THEM in about 10 years. But then there would be another 200 million to answer and she could retire from ever riding again, just to sit and read these comments the rest of her life.
It was so amazing to see your lovely smile and to hear “Good Morning internet” again after your Southern Africa adventure. Your new bovine friends seemed to approve of Alaska and it looks like it will be an awesome bike for your travels. With the recurrent surges in the coronavirus and its various strains, I was fearful that you would not be able to venture far from the Netherlands. Hopefully, that will not present problems and you will not be stuck somewhere in South or North America. Stay safe and well and I am looking forward to the upcoming adventure.
I love how the cows are so engaged on what's going on.
I mean, think about it - their day consists of eating grass, mating, and sleeping. Would you not be interested if a human was filming right next to you?
The cows look like, she is one of us. 😁
Wow! Such amazing content! I just ride my bicycle on local roads and in large parks with great bike paths but find the things you say about motorbikes and your adventure projects very interesting and inspiring. Your new Honda looks great! And thanks for talking about the modifications you made and the ones planned for the future. Really helpful to hear you think out loud about how you make decisions.
Great choice for your purpose. A stiffer rear spring will be easily available: can even be made to order. Same height, just a little stiffer. Excited for you and your new journey. Go Itchy.
I've been saving to buy this same bike for over a year now, and it's popularity is gonna skyrocket because of Itchy Boots! Gonna make an already hard to find bike even harder to get. But at least everyone who gets one will have an awesome bike.
Hard to find?
I can find a new one in 10 minutes .
@@ekimandersom4478 That's awesome that it's readily available in your area, wish it was the same for me. 8 month + wait list here in my province in Canada.
1:25, I can't agree more about the weight issue. All these people who fantasize about riding Back Country on a BMW GS1250 are in for a shock when they drop it (and they WILL drop it, sooner or later) & have to pick it up.
I had joined up with you in Central Mexico until you were at the Arctic Ocean.
Now I have come back to the beginning of Season 6 to see what I have missed.
Like your new bike, Alaska! Always, safe travels to you, Noraly
I KNEW IT, I knew it!!! Once you try 250L, there's no way back. I am waiting for my 300 Rally as well. I put 30K on the 250L in one year without a single problem. One more simple update I would recommend is the lower SeatConcepts seat, it makes a world of difference on longer rides. Good luck
Hooray! I hope for you two things. 1) some one out there will be able to gift you a titanium exhaust - less weight. 2) with the correct spring you should be able to gain 10%-20% higher spring pressure in the rear and even drop 1 or 2 cm seat height. Cheers to you. from middle usa
Watching this from a couple years later. The sound of the engine is so familiar! I know this is the bike we have become so familiar with on her journey through Central America. Lots of good miles ahead!
Brand new feel 😀brand new trip 🤔with BRAND NEW BICKE ❤
I've been following you for 2 seasons. I really admire you for your natural way, your smile even in negative situations, your courage. Don't let a stone touch your feet. have a good journey
I knew it! It's the PERFECT option and you're going to love it! Honda reliability and the ergonomics are perfect!
I just discovered your channel. I kind of like your soul and the way you express your happiness and inner strength. What a wonderful person! You also motivated me to buy the same bike. I will watch your following videos to see how far that pretty Alaska could take you. I sincerely wish you the best of luck with everything else. Thank you so much for being simply what and who you are. You've just got a new subscriber.
just watched the rebuild. fun to go back in time. glad you had a great adventure, and rebuilt the bike for more to come!
I am so hooked on this series being a new Itchy fan. Lots of binge watching going on. I'm going to watch every place Noraly has been.
Excellent choice. 2 extra ignition keys and a center stand might be a good idea. Lot's of sharp rocks and mud on our roads. The bike shops in Anchorage usually have excellent tire/tube advice and will put a set of tires on hold for you at no charge. There's 35 species of mosquitos waiting for you. Peak season is usually mid June through July. Godspeed!
Good point! 'Best to avoid mosquito season in Alaska.
Bring lots of Deep Woods Off.
35 😱
@@ciaranbyrne62
Not all of them bite humans.
@@browngreen933 My uncle and cousin where life-long, full-time, loggers, trappers and hunting guides in northern Ontario. They always swore by Deep Woods Off. They said if you're going to be working at a spot in the bush, find a stump about 50ft from where you'll be working and spray it all over with Deep Woods Off. The mosquitos and black-flies will all go to the stump and leave you alone. For actual insect repellant, they used "Muskol" or a home-made recipe made with bear grease and native herbs. Those ingredients are a little hard to find if you're just passing through.
I just started following you. A guy that I play football with told me about you. I am in Canada and ride a Harley and a BMW, so I enjoy your adventures and appreciation for the differences in motorcycles. If you are near Vancouver let us viewers know, it would be nice to see you. until then, continue to ride safe and enjoy every turn of the wheel.
You are a so positive personn! A sunshine! Thank you for your enjoy and your vidéos.

Noraly, I for one have missed your infectious enthusiasm and joyous laugh for far too long now. Welcome back and here is wishing you and Alaska many safe and fun-filled miles together....of course with us all, along for every single one of them 😊 Bon voyage Noraly.
well said!!!!!
Exciting news Noraly. I was glad you took the time to explain your choices for the new bike as well as equipping it for your next adventurer. It's good to see you and the energy you bring to life.
She's really a good looking bike and since I already am watching your current rides she's quite a faithful and noble companion Noraly!
Toujours un vrai plaisir de voir la joie que peut provoquer une nouvelle moto!!!!
So happy that you’re back! My significant other and I have been suffering from Itchy Boots withdrawal! Looking forward to these new adventures. Your new bike rocks! Rock on!
Your positivity and fearlessness is so inspiring. Love your videos, they always make my day better!
Your joy is inspiring! The vids i have seen so far I have never seen you worried or panicked.
Snow at 4k meters in Colorado, maybe.
Been there, done that.
I will use your adventures as a guide for my adventure New Mexico to Alaska spring 2023.
Enjoy your rest. Look forward to your next adventure!
One can purchase adjustable shocks--I would check to see if yours are adjustable. One can usually rotate the barrel to make the springs more extended, but the shocks themselves if adjustable will have a screw that modifies the damping.
What a inspirational human being, I believe every one can right away relate with your friendliness.
Missed you girl can't wait for the new adventures 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I just started watching your channel. I've done several motorcycle roadtrips in the U.S. so I find your adventures fascinating. I love the information you provide about the locals, history, geography, etc. I now want to retire in Cuenca and use it as a base for many trips.
Sono un nuovo tuo sostenitore non che' ammiratore...motociclista da sempre . Complimenti x l'entusiasmo e soprattutto ilcoraggio con cui affronti i tuoi viaggi , quasi ti invidio!!!
Yaaaay, welcome to the club! Very happy with mine - we did 6,500 miles of adventure travel this summer and the bike never skipped a beat. I went with the basic YSS rear shock which was easy to get, easy to fit and, is a good enough improvement for me and my luggage, without breaking the bank. Safe travels in Series 6!
Noraly, you have already proven to the adventure riding community that it is possible to tour the world on a small displacement motorcycle! Once again, you have made an excellent choice! Always remember the early Honda advertising slogan, “You meet the nicest people on a Honda”. That is certainly true today! Can’t wait for your next installment and we find out about your preparation to re-start your adventure!
By the way Noraly, CONGRATULATIONS on achieving the 900,000 subscriber mark! Wow! What an adventure it has been! I’ve enjoyed every video and hope to continue to travel the world with you through South and North America and many more adventures to follow!

Congratulations with your new bike. Sehr schön. Viel Spaß und pas auf on your journey to Alaska. 💪
Excellent choice Itchy Boots. The 300 Rally is proving bulletproof, easy to handle with spirited performance, longer range but you will need a softer seat!

Welcome back Noraly.
We're looking forward to having more exciting adventures with you and Alaska. You've chosen a great bike for the route, you're not going to regret it. Have fun and ride safe.

Good to see you again, noraly! A friend of mine suggested you and I’m forever under you spell. 😌 She envied how you handled things, with a calm demeanour and made no fuss, but with a giggle or a smile.
Excellent bike choice!! Light, easily and conveniently serviced. The service intervals are way too short on the 450L. As long as it isn't too tall it will be just right. So happy to have you back!
Yes...finally a new season!! Back to great journey

Be safe Noraly it’s great to have you back!! Godspeed!!
Hey Noraly, nice bike ! For suspension challenges (firmer/not higher) I can refer to Hyper-pro in Alphen aan den Rijn here in The Netherlands, these guys are magicians when it comes down to motorcycle suspension. If you have a problem they can fix it and they can fix it fast and you'll be astonished by the result ! Just give them a call.
I found this channel way beyond season 8, when she was going through Africa. Seen that beat up bike there being brand new in this episode feels awesome and nostalgic.
un plaisir d'entendre votre bonheur à tester ces "nouvelles" machines.
Well done Noraly on getting Alaksa. This would be the ideal bike in terms of weight to power ratio and ease of maintenance cost and parts availability. Been following your journey since season 1 when you visited my country. Blessings from Malaysia to you on the next journey.
Also happy she visited Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Perfect machine for the job Noraly, a few tweaks to make it nearly right, more will come once you are into the adventure, lovely to have you back, ride safe and stay safe young Lady. D
Good luck with the new bike, safe travelling, loving your trips, follower from Ireland
I love all you’re videos. Really cool, I liked when you got your bike stuck in sand then filmed you riding away with your drone shot❤️
Watched the first few seconds, you talking about how good Savannah was, and I think "Oh, she wouldn´t buy MY bike, would she? And you did!! I am very happy with my Rally and never had I more fun on a bike, I think it is perfect for you. Enough power, little weight, little fuel consumption, windshield and large tank. Honda quality might also help on a long trip.
So next year, whenever I stop somewhere, I will hear: "Oh, is this the bike Itchy Boots rides?" It will be a good year with Season 6. All the best, Noraly!
19:32 minutes with a smile in my face again. I wish you luck and ride safety as well. Anxious to know Alaska with your eyes. Welcome back!!!!
Nothing better than that new bike feeling every time I’ve got a new one I bring it in the house and stare at it that night ! 😁
Hello from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 , I think you are such an inspiration to women all over the world. I've just finish watching some of your episodes when you are in Alaska. I'm not a biker but I'm thinking about it. My husband is a biker. He plans on going to the Yukon next summer. Good luck in your future adventures!
Hello my ontarian sister. I am from northern Ontario, live in Wisconsin now.
Good to have you back Norely looking forward to your new adventures. I am not really up with motorbikes but I have been a mechanic for 42 years, which brings me to my point. We used to get rubber inserts to fit between the coils of the springs to harden the suspension. I don't know if it would work on your bike. Just a thought as you can remove and refit as you want
Great choice! After searching for several months a dealer in Sheridan Wyoming called saying they had a 2022 300 Rally on the floor !!! YES !! I bought it over the phone and immediately drove the 85 miles to pick her up. I’m very pleased with my new bike and I have you Noraly to thank for showing what a great bike the 300 Rally is . Thanks for such great content! As you have grown your videos have grown in content and quality. The Alaska adventure should be picked up by a big television network. But then again CZcams is available for all the world to see.
Congratulations! You have a great bike!🏆💪🥰👏👏👏👏Buenas rutas guapa!🇦🇷
Thanks best of luck to you. ✌🏻👊
Awesome! So happy that the new season has started already and really looking forward to the start of the adventure.
