No but it does random inappropriate fills every chance it gets until the rythem is lost. Oh wait that's a real drummer! Lol!
If you don't have a top-tier computer, you might just have to wait 15 minutes for the samples to load.

The samples load gradually, so yes they simulated the drummer schlepping the kit in piece by piece while everybody else is already playing
the factory content of SD3 was recorded so professionally, the mics in the right spot, phase is all aligned correctly, you don't even need EQ on the raw samples, and when you do process the samples they ring and pop like crazy because the frequencies are all so balanced, mic placement is the most important aspect of sample quality

I built a kit that is mostly that Pearl Masterworks kit with a ludwig snare. added EQ, Comp, Reverb, a sub kick, and the analog tape on parts of the kit. Ive never gotten a drum sound so good.
what parts on the kit did you use analog tape on, and which did you not?

Ola, Good sounding kit right out of the box. Thank you for doing a metal video and not another of the many videos out there that I have to turn the volume off because the music is so stupid. Sounded great with the Feared track.

Bless you. Anyway, I just got Perfect Drums from Naughty Seal Audio and it's so good too, really easy to use and a gorgeous interface. Your video on it was a heavy influence that helped me decide to buy it. They just had an upgrade and added a ton of new stuff too. I have always been intimidated by superior drummer and this looks kind of intense and more indepth/professional.

I totally thought you were going to mention that you can use SD2 preset packs on SD3. Metal foundry, metal machinery and others all work and have all new graphics. It's amazing.

Every vsti drum app I ever use I have maybe 2 kits I'll use with any frequency and 100GB of samples I'll never use.
Hello I have a question. These very heavy samples are they full drums patterns used by guitarists or are they more snare , cymbals sounds ? Because i am a drummer and will be using SD3 through my Roland TD11 module, i don't need pre-made drums patterns at all. Thanks if you can answer.

Hey Ola, which of the albums on the store has the drum midi's included? As far as I can see only the "Feared "Furor Incarnatus 2013" - Deluxe Edition" is listed as having drum midi.

The biggest peeve for me in Superior drummer 2, is that when I change kit-packs, I can't easily use a snare from another kit. For example, if I change from 'metal foundry' to 'progressive foundry', I can't use one of the metal foundry snares on the the prog-kit. Is this issue or should I say, challenge, fixed in superior drummer 3? Cheers, mate.
