What are the straps you used called?
Great tips! I did not know about the front and back straps. Will look into it.
You were trying to get the straps going over the canoe not twisted but don't they have to be twisted? When we first strapped our canoe we had the straps not twisted and we had so much noise in the car that we cold not talk. Extremely annoying. Fortunately Swift was on our way so we stoped to ask them for advice and they said that the straps had to be twisted. It worked!
I own a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan with a naked roof. I've been pulling my hair out trying to find a rack that will work on it. Could you please tell me what Yakima towers and clips you are using? Thanks.
