For those of you that don't understand how difficult it is to play a set like this on vinyl. Each time the needle skips or bounces from vibrations he has to essentially recount or beat match from the beginning again. It's something most DJ's understand but I give hector so much more credit for staying focused and keeping his cool.
Do djs play vinyl for fun and added dynamism?
@@misterchief5378 depends on the DJ I guess. Yes it's harder to spin vinyl but you're limited to what you can mix. I think people just want to keep the tradition alive since it's kind of a dying art.

Muchas gracias...Hector..eres mas real que el 85% de los Djs, con todo mis respetos para los Djs que solían pinchar con vinilo pero ya no...Con los vinilos hay fallos, saltos...cablagadas y mezclas no tan buenas...pero todo es100% genuino y autentico...por favor amigos DJs, grandes maestros ...vuelvan todos al vinilo...
Lastimosamente ahora está algo monetariamente complicado tener un equipo de ese nivel pero desde luego que hacer casi todo el trabajo por ti mismo es digno de llamar alguien Dj.

It’s a shame that such a top tier DJ always need to struggle so hard with the equipment provided by boiler room. I remember the b2b with Cem where they had the same problem and still played an awesome set. Boiler Room please Fix the issues in advance, when you know a DJ is playing vinyl. it's funny, people will complain saying "ahhh these lazy kids with their CDJ's and sync buttons, noone does vinyl anymore!" and when someone finally does it they nitpick and critique them into the ground. almost like they only want to flex their "I haven't touched a record in 30 years... BUT BACK IN THE DAY-" card and don't actually care about the tradition at all. they look past the positives and widdle it down to whatever they can pick at. if you really cared about the tradition, you would be happy just to see someone spin in the first place. as a vinyl DJ, I absolutely love this set!

Sadly, another gongshow set that Boiler Room put together for Hector. I saw his Insta story where his intro was ruined from a skipping needle so clearly this video was edited? Or did he begin his intro entirely over for the sake of the video? There's further skipping here and there like the last Boiler Room. And of course, there's this goon getting in his space that he needs to sidearm out of the way. If the DJ needs to do that even once, event organizers need to be ON THAT and relocate that person to an entirely different part of the club at the very least. ***DJs need to focus*** Especially vinyl DJs. Nonetheless, Hector was a great sport about everything AND he still put together and executed a smashing set.

Parece que ha tenido que hacer de técnico de sonido organizando todo el equipo al empezar en medio de algún estorbo humano que estaba por molestar . @Boiler room debería de tomar medidas con este tipo de idiotas que entorpecen el trabajo de un artista. Finalmente ha comenzado a dar cera pero teniendo problemas continuamente debido a que la gente estaba saltando muy cerca y la plataforma hacía saltar la aguja de los platos .
