I always love your sew alongs 😀 So well explained. It turned out so beautifully. I have a small doubt, I had the idea that we should always use zig zag stitch while sewing knit never straight stitches otherwise it wouldn’t stretch. Can someone explain it to me? Thank you
You can use a straight stitch is some areas. Depends if it is going to be very stretched on or over your body. Necks and hem bands like a stretch stitch but side seams can be straight. You can use a straight stitch with maraflex thread and it will have some useful give. Hope that helps.
❤ Thank you so much. You were so helpful ❤
Very thorough sewalong and really like your cardigan. I probably wouldn’t have looked at this pattern but seeing it made up I am convinced to buy it.
We are so happy to hear that!
Beautiful cardigan, thanks for the fab sew-along!
Thank you so much!
Great video! Question - could this pattern possibly work with terrycloth fabric?
Yes, that should work really well!
Great - thanks!@@MinervaDotCom
Defiantly going to make this but did I miss something. When did you use the interfacing?
The fabric was pre interfaced in this video :)
I’m wondering if this would make a great dressing-gown?
Depending on the fabric used, you could fashion this into a dress-gown - You will have to amend the sizing as well
Hope this helps!
