- Day 20: Oldest Buck on the Farm? Crunch Time!
With only days remaining in the season, I elect to move a blind into the field to try and get a mature buck in bow range. One of the first deer I see early in the afternoon is likely the oldest buck on the property.

Jared, I think you could honestly do a video of nothing but deer footage (with audio) with no hunting, and people would watch it. Kinda like a documentary style video and keep that cinematic look. awesome footage!
Great stuff man. Cant wait to see the next one. Hope you get the job done.
Keep up the great work sir! Bravo!
Another great video Jared, nice bucks.
So cool with the black running down his back legs. I love that they can look so unique aside from their racks. My wall has a good variety.
Your videos are the best. Appreciate your time and effort. Just watching deer do their thing. Awesome.🤘🏻🦌
Sitting at work watching this falls trail cam vids just to enjoy the sights and sounds of our fall Thanks for sharing Jared. We have enough Coyotes around so that works for us too. Doesn’t bother them a whole lot just enough to clear an exit 👍
Nice bucks. Good sits. Thank you.
Incredible how his tarsals stain all the way down his legs I’ve never seen that in 40 years out in the deer woods again great stuff Jared
Great video as always
I guess him to be 8yr old he looks under the weather he has nice character like a scar face
Good luck man
I had a biologist tell me that deer 6.5 and up have stained tarsals year round. Now I don't know if that's true but I have noticed older bucks hold that staining much longer or even year round. Thanks for sharing jared
I never minded the flavor of tag soup if I was out smarted by a full time deer, its when I outsmarted myself that tag soup tasted a little on the watery side. Luckily I have a bunch of Y's and spikes to stir the pot. Was the staining on sneezys back legs from his hocs or just a color variation? Nice couple of sits thanks for always making it a story to look forward too. Best regards.
I don't think I've ever seen a buck with that much tarsal gland staining down his back legs
That deer looks like he's got arthritis in his back legs. I bet that deer is 9-10yrs old
I was looking at that. And I agree
I guess 4.5 but nice animal.
