Well, that was different! I'll have to check the previous video (got no notification for it), but I didn't expect you to also be so much at ease with electronic circuits, particularly a beast taken from a high power VFD.
Well done, including a simple 240V inverter as tester :-)

I follow a lot of youtubers that are into electronics and I always click onto their channels to see their latest videos to bypass notifications. I found that notifications are very unreliable. If you liked this video watch another one of my videos "How to charge up your 12v car battery with a laptop power supply using my improved version" It came out six months ago and uses IGBTs.

There are not many videos like this on youtube so that is why I made this video and thanks for watching.

Thanks Lucky! I'm not sure I understood most of that - but thanks anyways! 😆

Thank you for watching my video. This the reason why I made the video so someone who needs to test some thing like this can find my video and do it.

Watched it out of interest. 😳
I can understand basic electrical stuff but when it comes to electronics, I only have half a clue.🤪

Electronics are like a jigsaw puzzle, when you have enough pieces the rest of the puzzle is easy to do. It took me a long time to fit the first two pieces together.

this kind of furnace would melt rolling steel

What are you going to build using the big IGBTs ? Is it an induction furnace ?

I would like to but it requires more knowledge to make it work properly.

I used to stay in a hotel in Perrysburg when attending the N.A.M.E.S. show at the seagate convention center in toledo. I did that twice before the show went to Wyandotte Michigan.
