This is great! Always wanted to see more roleplay features in ETS.
Safe to say Im going to be sticking with ets2. It looks ok but, especially with promods (which i have), ets2 is way better. Ets' graphics are better too
That's fair, ETS2 has far more replayability although if this game had modded maps like ETS2 that could help
Ets is a better game, but Truck & logistics simulator is one of the only trucking games for console. I would love to have ETS or American truck simulator on console. But It will be a long time before that happens if ever.👍🤙

This has some cool features like loading your truck yourself, rigid trucks, etc. The execution and level of detail is a bit shoddy tho, they couldve definetly paid more attention to detail.
Yeah, great ideas in this game but it does lack polish.
Only 5 people are responsible for making this game. Best trucking game on consoles by far. Bus simulator 21 was my favourite big wheel simulator on consoles but I can safely this game is my new number 1 💯

When company and the player are separate entities, that will transform the game into tycoon, which add more layers to the gameplay.

I play it on the ps5 and I like it a lot for sure in multiple player and drive with multiple people to the same location is a lot of fun I just hope one day there do a update that you can listen to the radio or something I know I can just put music on my self but some music in game can be fun to

I'm not sure about the compatibility list, but I use a Logitech G27. It reckon any major steering wheel brand like Logitech or Thrustmaster will be supported by this game.

Had this game for a few weeks i like it but it needs more version in the tipe of jobs am very interested in what comes as improvements in the updates i am using the thrustmaster t248 sim wheel which i like but on this game can't seem to view left and right at a junction with out the r3 stick on the pad if you no of away on the wheel itself it would be much appreciated thsnks

I think it's unfair to directly compare this to ETS2 when ETS2 has had 12 years development behind it and a further 4+ years in the original ETS game.
As a starting point, this looks very good
The game is fun and different because you can drive different vehicles, and can load the vehicles yourself, but it is a wasted opportunity to be honest. It is the most average game you can say, and that is its biggest flaw. It is not bad, but it could have been so much better.
Imagine if the devs would add more efforts and actually use the car vehicles for packages delivery (like food delivery, taxi delivery and things like that); kinda what they did in city driver game... and same with the pickup and box truck; where you could do deliveries like groceries or amazon style stuff, giving the game a very different vibe and feeling. Instead every mission feel the same in the end, no matter what vehicle you use, and there is no real sense of progression, as all you do is just to pick something and go to deliver it without much thoughts in it and immersion. Also getting out of the car was something that would have been nice to do... other truck games started to add that and if you combine that with the delivery mechanics, it really start to become very fun.
Maybe they will make DLCs? Or a second game? I hope so because this feels like a demo while we wait for the actual final version of the game. Good product, neither bad nor great.
It would be really cool to have a masssive open world driving simulator with those kinds of taxi/delivery missions and then a good level of progression. Imagine if it was an MMO!

There is another early access game that has this driving world type of approach (forgot its name, it is a low poly style game where you drive different vehicles and level up each vehicle basically); and I think they are onto something because the fun part is to differentiate between driving a bus vs deliver rocks vs deliver packages or take a person from A to B. You are still driving, but the experience and feel is totally different.

Are you using VR, or something that make you look freely like you are doing when driving?
On consoles if your using steering wheel just use the right stick on the controller to look around. So basically drive one handed and one hand on controller. You'll get used to it 👍
A proper better trucking sim for consoles. I've enjoyed the game alot. Feels like a mobile game ported over to consoles but thats fine. I ain't complaining😊.

Recently I watched a Arthur Chapman video, which was still the pre-release version. Looks like the game finally has road signs, it was a mess without. Going by the ol' Right before Left, even in roundabouts, is so stupid.
Would love to test the multiplayer one day.

Does the game have a career mode or is it just more of an arcade style, I did buy it but I can't be bothered loading it up. Got a number of other games that I am more interested in right now.
Its sort of a career mode. As you earn more money you can afford better equipment and therefore unlock different jobs.

I've just got it on ps5 & after playing for a couple of days it has a lot of bugs & glitches no feedback at all on joy pad plus driver Ai is unpredictable yes it has a lot of good points & ideas going for it but the more I play the game the more I'm finding it feels like it was rushed even the cities are ghost towns ,sheep are like driving into a brick wall I do hope that the developers sort out some patches for it soon as it could be a very good game
Best option on consoles. And it was only made by 5 people. 5 human beings made this game. I've had more glitches on bus simulator 21 which has a full team of developers 😂

It is worth buying if one has the money and I love the way it is more advanced than ETS2. You don't have to load too many mods before you can enjoy it. I hope they add more maps. And I can't wait for the crack version 😅. I hope my potato PC can handle it 😂.. Great video man 👍

You can not compare this two Euro trucks game they are completely different league. But for console it’s not bad game
the background sound of the ETS menu music (you little rascal you) makes the game so much better 🤣

If scs cant add load your own trailer they could if possible make a loading animation of the forklift loading it
But like i said if that is even possible

I do use VR but not in this video. This video uses TrackIR which is a system you have to buy for PC and tracks your head movement.

Yeah but there's also a bunch of dlc for those games and the main bonus for this game is that it's available on consoles where a game like this was lacking

I played it...but in my opinion its not worth it to spend 20 bucks. For 20 bucks you can get LS22 or ETS2/ATS in a Bundle. When u wanna buy it...wait for a sale or get a cheap key. Sorry Aerosoft...
PS: One of the good things about it: It need really small space on your SSD...like around or under 2GB.
I agree ETS2/ATS give better value for money overall, as long as you don't want *all* the DLC
But you also gotta remember that this is the only proper Trucking sim right now for consoles.

I'd give one of my kindeys to charity if they made ETS2 on ps5:(((( This game aint bad, but lacking npcs, bigger map, more things to do daily.
Like all trucking games..need more parking challenges instead of just driving to location. Turnoff.
For a 2023 game I would expect more from it. For the cash they charge you to take it is too few... Is far from ets . Drive true force is not there and the game really don't simulate as it should the reality of rolling over from too much speed... Overall is a very forgiving game, I wish it would be more challenging but no . I consider it a failure. It can't be a great game just for few characteristics like loadin your truck or adding sedans and vans
The ai traffic is horror, they should st least make them truly respect to driving rules and drive more fluid. My only hope is that they work on updates and DLC and improve the game with age. Have potential but far for reaching the greatness. Right now I wished I didn't spent my money on it.

hmm gets repetitve rather quickly...also not sure just me but really need to hear other vehicles including other players vehicles sfx, and lastly the vehicles themselves need better sound effects. those included break the immersopn......as well i noticed there is a port and an airport?...are there missons that deliver goods to ships and aircraft.?.even better missons where you are transporteed in a plane or ship would be great....Ets is way superior however it doesn't have the loading part of the game.. so there is that,,

Just like you ive tried this game like 2 weeks ago and I've played ATS and here what I think about this game ;

The fact that you start with smaller vehicles and work your way up to bigger trucks for bigger jobs give you a reason to work and gives the player a sense of accomplishment
Loading / unloading the cargo
All vehicles are customizable ( interior and exterior )
But now ... what I think are the -
The map is way too small and feels empty . If the devs can expend the map in the future it will be great but for the moment it is what it is
The texture .. I mean geez , it's a 2023 game and the texture look ruff sometime . No pbr texture of anything like that . Vehicles interior are ruff , low res and low quality
Gameplay can be repetitive . Hope you like visiting the same place / roads again and again cause you will !
AI traffic is sometimes dumb , they do not acknowledge your presence of just don't care
A general note for me would be a 5 / 10 . Needs a lot of improvement but the base is good
I agree with what you've said. This is a good start and its definitely better than a lot of other simulator games, but it can't quite compete with ETS2 or ATS

Well it’s been over a decade… and straight trucks aren’t in the ets/acts games… those games are garbage sims but the mods make people believe it’s a good game.
i want the rules to be realstic, not only the rules itself. but also the fines you can get with it. for example turning lanes without blinker light. but no game offers that :(

I agree. The only traffic offenses In this game are speeding. I run red lights all the time and never get a ticket. But the speed traps work. Could be more realistic but at least we have this. 👍🤙

Do not compare this game to ets2 and ats. Look at this game as work in progress. Remember 18 wheels of steel? Still a fun game but not like ats. Yesterday I fooled around with a van and forklift and it was fun. Would I like to reskin my van with a huge logo? Yes of course but I already spend hours skinning and reskinning trucks and trailers in ets2 en ats. If somehow these developers could find a way to work together it would be great. Being a ets2 and ats fan I still fire up 18 wheels of steel because it still is a fun game to play. Yesterday I had fun with this game so it's a yes from me.👍🏻

As a forklift driver all i can say is, youre not certified. Firstly when loaded and you cant see in front of you. you have to drive Backwards, and with the forks bent up towards you otherwise when you break your load will slide off the forks
Nobody & I mean absolutely NOBODY cares if you’re forklift certified. I’m not certified and I’d drive circles around you with a forklift and that’s not discussing actual driving.

Don't buy it on a console It looks like a mobile game ong I just wasted my money The interior has 2D graphics the map is small The physics are awful Its a poor excuse for a game I won't even talk about the Menu I feel scammed
Imo, the only cool things of this game are the diversity of the véhicules you can drive, and the fact that you can load yourself.
On the graphical part, it looks far beyond a FS22 that can offer literally the same thing with some mods.
For me, their Scania models are worse than the one in Scania Truck Driving Sim. mainly on the mirrors, in this game they are just .... bad.
And the driving also looks kinda bad, and i dont think you mentionned retarder.
I imagine they dont have next gen scania because of ETS, but that's only speculations.

It's not a bad game at all ,,still needs a lot of work , map looks like it was made for android games (small as fck) , AI is horrible, and after delivering a few cargos is getting boring! Poor, let's hope they bring a few Dlc,, Maps,, new cargos
