What kind of coffee do you drink
Girly, grow yourself an herb garden. Cilantro is super easy to grow.
Easiest and the absolute best banana bread recipe I've ever used. The
loaves are huge and fluffy. I also melt butter and add honey to it and
then drizzle all over the top of the banana nut loaves when they're
done. I always double the recipe and I add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. I add
1/2 cup of mixed almonds/walnuts/pecans to the mix and then I dust the
top with the same before putting in the oven.
EASY BANANA BREAD
3 bananas, well mashed
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. flour (1 c. can be whole wheat)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mash bananas in mixing bowl. Add sugar,
eggs and oil, mixing well each time. Sift dry ingredients together and
add to banana mixture. Pour in greased 5x9 loaf pan and bake 55-60
minutes.
I agree. Start an herb garden. Most of them would grow in Florida, and it's a fun hobby.

I feel ya Mindy, our big outing yesterday was grocery pick up too. Then I go home and admire our full fridge and pantry. My 11 year old son said a full fridge makes him happy, couldn’t agree more! I want to feel better and I want to be better for my kids.

Okay so I had the WEIRDEST dream, Don't think I'm weird! I had a dream I was in a car with you(Mindy and Larry driving!) You picked me up at my very old daycare!🤣😂 And then we drove into some random city and you guys were so excited stating you never been around Texas and I was basically you're tour guide! Lol we ended up at some yogurt place and Mindy was very excited about it and I spilled mine on my shirt and then that was pretty much it. PLEASE DON'T THINK I'M WEIRD!🤣😅

My sister taught me a trick with cilantro. She washes it and then puts in the fridge in a coffee mug with the stems in water with one of the produce bags over it. It seems to perk it right up.
I know you had a big to do about wanting to paint your cabinets and then deciding it was a lot of work! Here is my opinion if you care to hear... you should add handles to your cabinets and if you can afford to maybe new lighter counter tops? I think it would loo gorgeous with the wooden cabinets! We have painted our cabinets but we don’t have near as many as you. They also make the cling like counter tops that you just place over the existing counter tops you can buy from amazon. They look great and are cheap! If you don’t like it, it comes off! My mother in law did this in her older double wide and it looked fantastic!

Ahhhh now I feel like baking!!!! I love baking! Just a tip you don’t have to dump out the clumps of flour with your and you can press it through the shifter and it will separate it. Always, always put the mixer in the bowl first, start the mixer on low and gradually increase to finish mixture. Shut off the mixer before removing it from the mixture.

Its frezing in New England, cold raw 40s and rainy. At least in Florida it clears up faster and gets warmer.

A hack for using the electric mixer is to put the bowl in the sink and mix it from there that way you stand over the mixer more and it is easier to have control over it. My mom taught me that!

There is a small hardware store near my fiancé’s house they finally got toilet paper in this Tuesday and we were able to get some! We got two bags but we didn’t go nuts so other people can get some toilet paper too! I made a banana bread with no sugar recently! It was really good! It did call for wheat flour unfortunately I only had white flour so I just used what I had!
To use mixer: always have it already in bowl before turning off, avd when turning it off do it in bowl then pull out lol

I was able to snag an Amazon Fresh delivery for toilet paper. I had to wait until after midnight. It was between midnight-1am and saw they not only had TP in stock but they had a few delivery slots open up! The only time slot left was to be delivered at midnight the following day, but that was fine by me! They let me order 2 24packs! So of course I shared some with the rest of my family. Just keep refreshing the Amazon app. The slots and stock go super fast, so have everything ready to go lol
They only thing I can’t find in stock anywhere is regular Flour 😩
I love storms. I moved from the east coast to Arizona and we hardly get storms or rain so that’s something I really miss.

I think lots of people have been baking all the things lately. My eggs usually last a while past the date on the carton. I put them in water - enough to cover them and allow them to float so a couple of inches above. If they stay sunk to the bottom they are fine and if they float then they are bad. My mom taught me that and it’s always worked for me. 🤷🏻♀️

Walmart delivery is great! So easy. Glad you are able to do that. Ahhh it took me 3 times to get paper towels finally. I also was able to order a huge box of TP on amazon, but had to look at the middle of the night lol. Have you and you thought about doing zoom with your family? My family is all out of state and we all downloaded the zoom app and have a little zoom party like once a week. Like 6 Of us. Yeah rinsing your fruits right away is a really good idea! Especially right now. We’ve been cleaning the packaging on all of our groceries when we bring them in. I just imagine people sneezing on them in the store and touching them, etc! Can’t be too careful right now!

Hi Mindy! Love this video which I actually learnt something from it. I've been keeping my strawberries in the refrigerator in a container with the lid on and noticed that the strawberries tend to go stale pretty quick.. Now I have to make sure to remove the container lid to keep my strawberries fresh in the fridge.. 👍🍓

I’m in NC and going to a store right now is super strange. There are restrictions on how many people can go into the store and many shelves are still bare. Odd that you guys still can't get toilet paper... in Melbourne (australia) I've seen it back on shelves for a good solid month now but with limits on how much you can take. Perhaps because it's made here? I wonder where yours comes from. The things we are still low on are yeast/self-raising flour, some types of rice, some types of pasta. Sometimes eggs.

Mindy do the egg test in water before you toss out any “expired” ones. Google how to see if your eggs are still good. Trust me. You’ll be surprised how much you may be wasting by going by the store expiration dates 🤗
Lilin Laga we’ve always had our own chickens and sometimes we loose track of which are the older ones in the fridge (we try to rotate the old ones to the front, but with so many people in the house, they get moved around). We always test them in water to see what floats to see what older! :) it’s a great tip for Mindy

Fyi the regular stacked measuring cups are for dry ingredients. The one you used with a handle and the one for baking powder are for wet! There’s a difference!💕

if you put your cilantro in a mason jar fill it half way with water and stick it in the fridge it will help it and they stay fresh longer
