Days Gone - Getting A Gold Score On Every CHALLENGE MODE Challenge, In The EASIEST WAY POSSIBLE.

- Hi there folks, on this video I am going to show you all how to achieve a GOLD SCORE on every single challenge in the Challenge Mode section of Days Gone, in the easiest way possible. I've been working on this video for a while now, and all the methods I show on this video, are in my opinion, the easiest way to take out every single challenge. A couple of the methods will be familiar to anyone who has watched some of my previous challenge mode videos, but most of these have been tweaked and changed to create even easier methods. I go into a lot of detail on each challenge, and I hope this video will become a one stop shop for anyone wanting to take out some or all of the challenges. I hope you all enjoy the video.

Many years ago, youtube in terms of gaming was full of channels in which they just loved one particular game or game series, and simply posted findings of theirs or congregated findings of others, and highlighted their mastery of the game and helped others.
On top of this great game being elucidated for people like myself who were quite late to discover it, i'm filled with nostalgia for a very different era of CZcams!

I'm simply hooked on this game & want to create an encyclopedia of Days Gone content to help everyone. Thankfully, I've still a long way to go, so more more videos will be coming.

@@josephramirez5617 When you first attempt the Surrounded challenge after turning on the playstation, if you don't get this right first time, quit the challenge, then go back into the challenges to play it again. NEVER SELECT THE RETRY OPTION, as when you do this, all the horde will ever do is go to the top of the roof. Hope this helps Joseph.

a nice collection, and i'm glad you did a little extra and a slow method on the Dead Don't Ride challenge -- it's good to know that you can relax a bit on it, and not have to power-slide the golf cart everywhere :)
Absolutely my friend. I actually took the time to complete a full run of Dead Don't Ride without using Nitrous, and I still managed to rack up a score of over 600K, so I knew the nitrous was not something that must be used, and the challenge becomes so much easier when you don't use it.

I totally get that Cassie. Until you know certain things about certain challenges, they look and feel daunting as hell when you first play them. I just zero in on the points that make every challenge as easy as they can be made.

@@borislav247 yeah now it’s time to face my first horde I’m kinda scared do you have any tips for dealing with the hordes especially the big ones like gun recommendations and where to get them
@@Mrniceguy2264 Biggest tip I can give is to use the environment to your advantage. Deek can always climb quicker than the freaks, which gives him a huge advantage in areas like the sawmill & chemult. Make sure you have at least 2 fast firing weapons to take on the larger hordes, as well as throwables. The best combination you can possibly get for taking on the big hordes is the SMP9, Chicago Chopper & MG55. With these 3, you have insane firepower. Last piece of advice mate, try and get the horde to move through narrow areas where you can slow them down & stop them from flanking you, and while they are going through these choke points, hit them hard with gunfire. Hope all this helps mate.

I am almost done getting all my patches. BOY OUTRIDE GOT ME MAD idk if playing from pc results on more difficulty handling the bike but to get my gold and even getting to the end with that fkin multiplier and basically learn the track blindfolded it took me over 200 attempts not kidding. Did I wrongfully hear that I had to keep accelerating for this challenge too? yes. when did i figure i could do human speed? around the 150th attempt. now i gotta do Survive. thx Boris my guide through apocalipse survival
Oh Outride. The multiplier for that bad boy is probably the most frustrating sub challenge to complete of ALL the challenges (75 kills with oxygen tanks in Infested comes a close second). Respect for sticking to the task and getting the job done. You now have the marathon of survive, but it's not time based so just take take it slow and steady and always make sure you have plenty of cover before firing. I wish you all the best my friend.

Quick question, mate. With the patches n rings that go over into story mode, do you have to start a fresh game for them to be activated?
No you don't my friend. As soon as you earn the patches, they are immediately applicable to the main days gone game. However, I'm only talking about the patches here, as the rings are not applicable to the main game.

What's easy to you Boris, isn't always easy to the rest of us...nearly 700 hours of Days Gone played and it still took me 4 goes to get gold on that first challenge. 😂

I really need this as I struggle to complete any challenge, essential is 3 bullet penetration by getting the ambush camp rush done but I just can't get it completed, hope this solves my problem.
I hope this one one helps you my friend. This is the easiest way by far to do the Ambush Camp Rush challenge. Time is not an issue so you can really take your time and chill while the camp destroys itself, lol.
GOLD!! Ambush camp done, after many failed attempts I might add, but done none the less. I just wanted the 3 bullet penetration for the main game hordes to see the difference. Silver on surrounded so far, hard to keep the multiplier going but I've found I can throw down remote bombs and mines so will keep trying.

Could you start a new speedrun category (and get the wr) for defeating all hordes? Resetting them at the end of the game

Why does the multiplier bar shrink much faster for me than in your video? What determines the speed in which it shrinks?
This is a hard one to answer, as the multiplier behaves differently in different challenges. For the endless horde challenges, it's all about racking up kills, and quickly. If you go easy on the action, then that multiplier starts to disappear. In most of the challenges, the multiplier is dependent upon speed, but some challenges the multiplier will give you more time due to the parameters of the challenge. This may all sound a bit vague, but I'd need to explain all this in a video to do it justice. And that may happen at some point mate.

They don't have any special skills mate, but, Rikki & Sarah are slightly faster characters.
Yes Sarah has the ability of mess your challegenges falling of the bike, (i hate outride, and sarah)

The hardest challenges to me are the bike ones
I totally get that. The bike ones are the most problematic for most people taking on these challenges, but the endless horde ones also give problems.

bro please tell me,When we fire the zombies, the number of bounties is equal to the time to kill them or not?
you have to collect the ears after you have killed them so if your far enough away from them you dont automatically pick them up. the mini map has x's on it which shows the ears you havent collected

Perks? Patches? Multiplier? Boris I have never understood any of the challenges. If you make a video explaining all this stuff and anything else you can think of it would be appreciated. Also, do you have to achieve a gold score for the main game benefit or do silver and bronze work? thanks
Well mate, at some point, I will be making a video on all this to try and help people, but it won't be out for a while yet unfortunately. Also, you don't specifically require a gold score to unlock the patch perk. Gold will unlock it if you get one, but a silver or bronze will also unlock the patch perk, but, they unlock the patch perk to different levels. The better the medal, the better the advantage you will unlock.
Just picked up gold on the first two challenges. took a couple tries, but using your methods caused minimal swearing.

There is my friend. The first is too represent the tier level of the challenge, BUT, there's another reason. Rikki & Sarah are the 2 fastest moving characters that you can pick. So you actually get a slight advantage when using either of these 2 ladies for the challenges. The tier 1 challenges don't require a faster character, hence why Deacon is used for those ones.
Surrounded doesn't work for me the way u did it, the zombies don't stay in front of the shop like urs, they come through the side by the ladder... never gonna get this gold then welp
Here's the trick mate, in order for it to work, you must get the job done with the first attempt after loading up the game. If you don't manage it first time due to some problem, then you need to quit the challenge, then load it up again. NEVER SELECT THE RETRY OPTION, as when you do this, the trick will NEVER work.

I dont know wtf bend never made challenges mp or coop just like last of us did. The maps with freaker ears for guns screamed coop/mp at me ot looks like a black ops zombies style maps as they have buyable weapons on walls and grenades they could have made this section online with challenges and had a seperate solo challenge fir patches in game but not for mp

It's not been patched. I mention this in the video, but the trick to getting this working, is to make sure you get this done on the first attempt after loading up the game. If something goes wrong, you need to quit the challenge, then go back into the challenges and reload Surrounded. NEVER SELECT RETRY CHALLENGE, as once you do this, this method simply won't work.

Can't even do your very first either the heavy on the first shot somehow tanks it and doesn't get affected by the resin or the sniper get startled by the shooting of the first heavy that does get resin and moves into the middle of the platform making it impossible to actually hit the sniper with a resin shot guess what the five f****** people that are around the Sniper Tower all see you every f*cking time. These challenges are the worst f****** thing ever added to this f****** game
Oh mate, the challenges are not worth this much grief to your well being. I honestly think you should just stop playing them. Some people love them, but the vast amount of people absolutely hate them with a passion. You've done well by actually attempting them, but never let any game get you this angry mate, it's not worth it. Stick with the main Days Gone game, as at least it's fair, unlike some of these challenges.
