This just made me cry! Just ended things with a guy I was seeing last week that I at first thought could be the one! I soon saw a few red flags and felt God convicting me and so I pulled out the prayer I wrote to God four years ago telling God what I needed in a future husband and I knew that I couldn't settle! This made me cry because it is so true! Bring your requests to God and He will work! It's not worth it to settle even when people don't understand your high standards, you do and you know what you deserve so don't let anyone talk you out of what you know in your heart is right!
I did the same thing in October 2016. I wrote down a list/Prayer of what I want in a husband. And I'm still single but every time I read it I get excited! It's so detailed. I know the character of my future husband already and makes it easy for me to discern who's not for me. I will never settle ever again!

I wish I could find my soul to. I've tried and I finally said to God if you want me to have a man who will treat me right love me instead of beating him, and saying he loves me that's not a man. I've waited for him to walk in my life and it's been 10 years now. So, I found who I was and it must be not for a man. I think God wanted me to find myself first. Now I've got cancer and I'm scared where it's going to take me. You see I have these two little boys that I need to grow old and watch grow up, and I truly think that these are the ones that's meant to be in my life. My daughter wasn't ever supposed to have babies, God blessed her not with only 1, but 2 babies. And I never new love until my first born grandson was put in my arms. That's a love you can't explain.
This guy just told me he started talking to someonelse the day before Valentine’s day I was sitting on a porch crying because no guys value me or see me as just a piece of ass basically.
