I'm a Senior SEM/SEO analyst and this is very accurate. However, I go into the office everyday which I prefer. Also have daily calls. Those are very important.
Love your day and the video! Very different than my day in a life though! Same job. I wake up 7 to be at work at 8 and finish at 5 - in case other people are curious.
On days I work from home, I wake up 7.40 for an 8am, but from then it's a busy time! Lots of meeting, calls and desk time is precious to do actual work. Most days, I have no time or energy to do a long walk at lunch. I'd sometimes eat at my desk to save time and be able to go home on time. Shows that it could be different for other countries/companies I guess!
8am is late for me. I get up at 5am and be ready for work at 6am.

Absolutely! So it's never too early to establish your digital prescence - and one of the ways you could start is just by making digital content! It can be Tik Toks, Twitter posts, CZcams videos, or writing a blog (Wix.com has free websites you can make pretty easily). Getting your feet wet with creating is the best thing you could do, and I think the key to learning is to have fun with it and to just do it! Even if you feel like you are not ready to, believe me no on ever is. We are all always learning, and just getting started and doing it is the best mindset to have! Also, there are so many free online resources, esp on youtube, look up how to create content for specific platforms and if you like coding, I would start learning basic code, because that can definitely help down the line.

It’s so interesting to learn that as a email marketer you are also creating the email layout. I am a new email marketer and working with a large company. I will just get the creatives from the marketer and I set up a campaign and send them a post deployment details. We do discussions around segments but not much for creative side.

Some good and some bad here.
I love how you went though your calendar and explained some useful information about your specialty. I also like that you do 9 am huddles sort of like we do , but yours are more productive. Ours tend to be zen things and philosophy.
Some bad:
Gotta stop with the green smoothies. This is on every video ever. Plus your wasting company time making them! Also nobody cares what you are wearing.
This is interesting, because as a Digital Marketing Coordinator myself, I'm not only expected to plan out campaigns and projects but design the creatives as well. But then again, I work in a small company.
Amazing! I say get your experience while you are in that role and in that smaller environment! I had a position like that, and it really allows you to "try on" so many different things to see what you like! And speak to this when you go to interview next, that you personally manage responsibilities within the marketing production process. Good luck!

I am new into digital marketing and working as email marketing specialist. Now I am looking for a job outside, as my contract is ending. I am in talks with a company which has a similar role but its not on execution but more around the processes set up, writing the guideline and SLAs around email marketing. I am not very good at writing part. Do you think it’s important to be good at writing the processes and documentation to grow up the ladder ? The company is good and salary is good. But this work is out of my comfort zone. However, if you think this job would help me to learn how we should do documentation, project management and eventually help me grow as a senior manager or higher, than I should take this as a challenge. If not, then I should continue looking for core email marketing jobs. Thanks so much!
I would love to hear more about the guidelines and SLAs. I think it sounds like a great opportunity on a high-level. I definitely do think that being able to write and speak to processes and documentation, especially in the form of SLAs is valuable and definitely could be leveraged for upward movement, because it's also something you could create a portfolio of work with. If the question is will you enjoy it if you don't like writing too much, I would factor in other sides of email you could potentially pursue that you would like. For instance, does email strategy intrigue you? If yes, you would work closely with designers and they would essentially help build you what you need. Or does marketing technology intrigue you, such as coding or platform management (also can be leveraged for high-paying, senior roles). Overall though, every opportunity you get, especially the one you mentioned, is going to help guide you into the area you want to be. If you are new, there is no pressure to automatically know what you may like, it is good to try new things!

Working from home depends on the company you work with not necessarily the role you are in. The youtuber here is an e-mail marketer so she spends her time putting together e-mail campaigns for the company she works for. It's like the e-mails you see from businesses in your Inbox (like Target or Best Buy for example) and these help bring in more customers/sales.

Is that PC you are using a ThinkPad?? If so, how is it and what do you like about it? If not what is the best PC for Digital Marketing to you?
It's a Dell. I think it's great as a low-cost option. But in terms of preference, especially for Digital Marketing and CZcams videos, you get more bang for your buck with Mac products (love the MacBook Pro). These run Adobe programs better, better processing and other techie stuff above my paygrade LOL!
