I always thought this song had so simple lyrics yet it was so effective. This was one of my favorite songs when I was young n someone said something mean to me and I would just repeat the line in my head, "Someday I'll be living in a big old city and all you're ever gonna be is mean." So, thank you, Josh, forputting so much emotion while singing a song which most dismiss as being childish but it really meant a lot to me.

I love you and your incredibly soothing, angelical voice, but (and please, take this as just a piece of advice) i think you would benefit tremendously from adding a little bit more energy and excitement when performing this particular song. This is my song and I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift. I'm from a small town and there were several people mostly coworkers who I knew who were pretty much stuck there because of poor choices they'd make. Whenever this song came on the radio I would say this is my song, and they would tell me I'll never get out. Two years this October. I moved to the city I wanted, pop 250,000 versus 750 in the village I was from. Some people don't want you to improve your life if its going to mean its going to be better then there's. moral is don't listen to what people say you can or cannot do. Only you can decide that.
