- The Soap Shop is in Mayhorn, which Anna and the POV Character explored in Video #27 (Mysteries of The Book). Per the World Anvil background information, the shop was established in 1824
- The date on the orders shows that it is currently April of 1889
- Anna wrote and sealed the letter that the Shop's owner opens after returning to Sir Dempsy's mansion at the end of Video #27
- Flowers of the Calendula genus - more commonly known as marigolds - were considered magical in the 16th century; it was believed that potions made from their petals would reveal the unseen
Another masterpiece... The inspection part with unintelligible whispers gave me many tingles. And the whole process was not only relaxing, but very interesting to watch. And, gosh, I think I want to eat one of these soaps.

just 6 minutes in and i was asking where did she get so many variety of victorian soap ? then she managed build and build with all sorts of unique accessories from glasses to burners. then she actually made soap. and i am not finished yet .props and attention to details are seriously impressive. she herself, her genius, and her acting, are always impressive. i am in awe.
Twist: All of this is just an elaborate advertisement for her new (real) soap shop!
Making soap is easy actually. And it’s clear she’s using melt and pour. Which is super duper easy

Pss, at 11:13 you can see how the woman opens a letter with Lady Anna's wax seal on it and then smiles, writing Lady Anna's name on the list of soap orders.
And at 17:46 you can see how the knife has "atmosphere" stamped on it!

I have to watch this completely alone and in secret. Its just not worth it to me to have someone walk in and say "What are you watching?" And then after I answer "I'm watching a woman wrap up home made soap in crinkly paper because I find it soothing," then I have to endure the confused look on their face and feel like I have to explain myself and explain ASMR and justify it and prove it and change their minds and its just not worth it. I just want to watch soap being wrapped in peace.

I have begun to tell those people to go right back out my room and to not let the door hit them on the way out and to inform the others that if they wish to speak with me they will have to wait until I leave my room for food until then don’t call text or enter the room or they will face my fury known as me throwing a thick hard cover book at them my target the toes
This is the only ASMR that I watch when I am completely rested so as not to miss something important in the plot
Same and then I go back to watch it for sleep. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched the royal ball gown video.
I try but with the longer videos usually have to watch multiple times to see it all.

ok but as an avid fan of gentle asmr, the soft and slow triggers that seemingly appears at the quiet background is just so tingly ... it blends really well with the ambience. it’s like something is tickling your ears while your eyes are fed by aesthetics from the setting 😭
I recommend you ASMR latte her sounds are very very soft and mild

@Willie James Not everyone will be falling asleep to the ASMR story. It's still a story, we'll all be high on candy. Seems possible that in 2050 this will be a thing. Or movies with ASMR elements like what ATMOSPHERE does.
It is beyond me, how much time she spends researching and doing things to make them really look like they were back in the Victorian era...
'Cept soap back then was waaay harder stuff. You could hurt yourself trying to cut soap with a knife back then. And a lot of people did.

@@jljordan1 Some modern soap is made of lye! It’s called cold process soap and it’s still very popular because of the patterns it can make. It’s not that hard though. It was probably harder back then because they didn’t add fancy butters and oils... it was more simple! The fats they did use were probably cheaper and in smaller quantities 🤔
See I reckon this might be a hobby she had from before, and just decided it would make a good ASMR video. I hope she is selling it at a market or on Etsy or something, that's a lot of soap!

I think we all know this night is going to be relaxing, all thanks to ATMOSPHERE.
Even if she didn't have the crazy big ambition to build some sort of cinematic universe, even if she didn't use tactile props and computer graphics, she'd still be the most remarkable asmrtist for attention to detail alone.
I usually am not as much of a fan of ASMR with no/very limited speaking... but _oooh boy,_ the tingles in here are enough to cure my immunity, which is a huge feat. Makes me forget about all the bad things for a moment... Truly a blessing, I have no qualms about putting this video among my top 10 favourites

this video did nothing for me when it first came out and right now i am absolutely paralyzed as i watch this. i dont even remember what i came in my room for. and the some of the soaps after being cut look like delcious fudge. even the knife has your name on it.what a boss. the asmr was so strong it took me forever to write this.
