Excellent review. I have a Sorinex Base Camp I got used and was looking to add the El Diablo and some of their J Cups. Then I saw the pre order for Oak Clubs dip bar and now looking at the James Cups. Thanks for the help. the big draw back from Sorinex is the lead time for manufacturing. 8-12 weeks is a long time. I order rep jcups when i got the rack out of necessity and couldn’t wait for Sorinex. that said I want to upgrade now. Will give my love to the Canadians since their location is in my old stomping grounds in Edmonton
Glad you made this video. The 6 vertical barbell holder is perfect for my Kabuki Trap Bar HD, so I ordered it. I want to get it vertical to save floor space. I work out barefoot and thought the same thing about their calf raise device.
@@BasementBrandon This will allow me to put a Rep SSB bar with the trap bar since my Transformer bar is at the bottom of my Rogue "gun" rack. The Alphas are great for all the reasons you described (Vendetta Strength Rogue Trolley Adapters now take the place for positioning Trolley Arms). Besides incline, they work well for decline. Also to place right onto your trolley arms to use instead of JCups for OHP or positioned low for shrugs or even curls with rack-able curl bar. Would love to see them fabricate a single Jcup with dual “j’s” spread out about 17” to place barbell while using something like the Sorinex Bulldog pad, given their James 2 design with its encompassing UHMW.
Thanks for the deep dive on Oak Club! Question about the Alpha Spotter Arms - you mentioned flipping them upside down allows for micro-adjustments. Do you mean that with a 1-inch hole rack you can effectively get 1/2" hole spacing micro-adjustments when you flip the arm? (1" holes = 3" spacing, 1/2" holes = 1.5" spacing)

Those sandwich J cups look A-1. I really like the securing mag pin on them. I have grown fond of my rollers for squats as well. That is an upgrade I will make eventually with the Irwin’s being the eventual choice. The other items look very nice as well. Great stuff man.
Wessey looks great, I'll consider it for calf training. Unsure about the round step and if it may potentially be better than the more common flat step.
I recommend the alpha-s as a great option for benching. It makes your starting position further away from the rack, so if your using a specialty bar there is less chance of banging it against your rack.
Perfect video. Thanks. Rogue finally updated their sandwich J-Cups for Monster Lite racks too. UHMW on back, all the way to top on the front and flush bolts too. Any view on 1" vs 2" sandwich J-Cups? The 2" look like an upgrade but as you say the 1" are thinner so more room for your collars.
I imagine Rogue is going to have to really step their game up on the ML as REP is chipping away at the 5/8" crowd. For sandwiches, I don't see a big benefit of the 2" for the reason you mentioned. I've had my 1" ones for almost 5 years and they've held up really well.
