Jobava London waitlist: alexbanzea.com
I 'm already there!!! Anxious!!!
Signing up!
Hey Alex love what you do !
already purchased Caro Kann and normal London, if you release the Jobava it means the King’s Indian is delayed right ?
Any idea when that might happen ? Not sure about Jobava as I have already normal London but will definitely purchase kings Indian !
Jobava London is like an aggressive real Madrid attack against Romanian team ! 😅 Gotta always win . BUT ...
always thought you're more likely to be for tactical play. You proved me wrong here : 11:24 enjoying positional play 😢. Quote it : " Love tactics and be prepared for positional play when the opponent is Romanian but very strong 😂" .
You need a countdown clock! Been waiting for months.
The exercises were fun and helpful, i don't mind seeing more of them if it doesn't take up too much additional time. Also like the video guys for the yt algorithm!
Kurapika?🕷
Eitherways i loved the exercises too.
The chess scene is full of "puzzles to win a piece or checkmate", but i really think it needs puzzles/excercisees like these where the focus is making a plan or improved your strategic position.
Adding problems enhances the commentary... make you think deeper focusing a reason. 👍
I can confirm, the V shape on my head is a huge advantage in online chess
I love trading pieces like I love watching Alex Banzea videos: I do it all the time with no regrets and have fun whilst doing it. Hope you're well Alex and keep up the great work with the content. Looking forward to watching the whole video :) ❤
Thank you for the great coaching, Alex. I enjoyed the exercises even more than the “pause the video” moments (which I think are helpful, as well). Pushing me to improve how I think about the demands of the various positions is a very good thing, I think. Looking forward to the Jobava course!
Very instructive. More of this format please!
I like this format with exercises, also really enjoying your Caro-Kann and London course. looking forward to the Jobava one. Keep it up!!
I'm excited about the Jobava course. The exercises are fun as well. Thank you!!
I really enjoyed this format of video!! I’m trying to learn how to slowly improve my position. I climbed from 500 to 1100 with the help of your videos and plan on continuing. Thanks again 🙏🏽
Another great video Alex!
The exercises are very helpful.
BTW, I'm enjoying your caro-kann course. Thanks for being the best chess teacher o YT.
loved the content around the ideas, strategy, positional chess and the exercises. thanks Alex!
Exercises are a nice touch
oh the jobava course is gonna be lit
Yes talking through the exercises was super helpful!
Good format, the exercises are a helpful addition!
Great video Alex! Looking forward to your JL course!
another great video! excellent work Alex!
The exercises are great. I'll be happy to see some more withe the Vieana opening. Thank you for your content.
Not only the video was very instructive, but it also came at the right time because I never knew what to do against 1. d4 c5. As for the exercises in the video, I find them very instructive especially to learn the motives displayed in the games. Thanks Alex!
Way to go, Alex. Exercises like the ones in this video are really mind-blowing for us intermediate or beginner players to get to the next level of chess understanding.
Agree, exercises are good, thanks for another good Video Alex, I would like to see some videos where they don't always play the way you expect in Caro and Jobava, these also help, as well as standard play :)
Alex, the problems are extremely useful, a great addition, please continue! Especially since they reinforce a theme illustrated in the games. This would be unique and highly valued content, I don't think there is anything like that floating around on CZcams or other webly settings...webly? Webified? Webistic. That's it, webistic, on other webistic settings. Thanks, please keep up the great work ...
Amazing video. I love the “pause the video”/ exercises. I feel like it develops our tactical vision
Let’s gooo another Jovaba video 🎉🎉
Thanks for the great video, Alex!
My Numero uno coach! I hope to see more of this exercises. ❤️
amazing stuff loved every bit of it. Thanks Alex
i couldnt decide who my favorite chess content creator was but i just fell in love... this entire episode is hilarious.
Excellent video. I really like the exercises, not that I get many right! It gets me thinking about the position when things are crowded, a weakness of mine when I play
The exercises are nice to apply what we just learned in the video and see how these themes pop up in high level games!
I liked the exercises. Keep em coming.
I like this format Alex! tthanks :)
Love the format with a few exercises. Keep it mostly the games and then 2-3 exercises that reinforce the main lessons from the game.
I like it when you explain the plan and why you choose it. I would love a video explaining how to read the board and choose the right plan.
Alex! I watch your videos almost every day. As always, great content - You're definitely appreciated my friend.
I loved it. Also wanted to see the second game analysis
great interactive format
The exercises are interesting and helpful for understanding how to proceed in a given constellation.
Can you cover the Dutch next for the jobava ? And more Benoni would be nice too - exercises at the end is a cherry on top, for the beginning when you mentioned the e5 when the opponent takes the d5 pawn with his e3 pawn would be nice to have a separate window showing what exactly is happening especially for the newbies that have trouble visualizing
I'm almost 2k in rapid today thanks to you - I only play 3 openings: jobava, Caro, and Kings Indian you and naroditsky are by far the best keep it up bro
- your boy from Canada
this is a very good video, thank you Alex
As always great video!
Thanks for another excellent video!
Loved the exercises, they forced me to not just watch lazily😅
Great exercises.thank you.
I really liked the video. The exercises were good 🙂
Loved the exercises. They were very funny and helpfull
Liked the exercises 👍🏼
Very valuable lesson…Thank you!!
That was hilarious…wait for it! 😂 You never disappoint.
excellent content!
nicely done! great video..thanks for sharing
Pure pro, always funny. Nice video.
Love the exercises
This is what I like to see. What to if the Jobava is declined.
Also: a waiting list is good. A finished course... the holy grail.😇
I enjoy your vides. I do like the puzzles and hope to see more of them. Then again, if my puzzles rating were my game rating, I might see you in a game...
The exercises are a great addition
great content, thanks
This is what I'm talking about. Thanks Alexie!
Yes, love the exercises... I never figure them out but I love them.
I enjoy the exercises as well.
Benoni problem solved thank you so much the second game has tons of instructional tips gonna watch it till i can recite it with annotations… as a d4c4 player i always went for c4 and got demolished now im looking forward to meeting it thanks again…if i may ask would you give us a solid line against the dutch ala Alex Banzea?
I heard here and there that Benoni isn’t a great choice for Black but You just proved it. Thank you ;)
Mulțumim frumos!
Thanks!
Love the more positional- based video
Man I got so many wooden spoons at this point, I'm going to open up a wooden spoon shop to get rid of them.
Exercises definitely help understanding how to play chess
Hello Alex
,
Can you show the desperado tactics?
Please
Great video! I have a question on the last one. I saw that f4 was the square and that we wanted to eliminate the knight but also thought that playing a3 before playing Nb4 and taking back with the a pawn seemed stronger because white was pretty locked and didn't have much time for counterplay or tactics with the idea to continue in the same fashion. Clearly I miscalculated something (or many things)...what was it?
Like this format
Honey come here new Banzea video just dropped!
I can’t believe this guys CZcams is free to watch
Exercises were good 👍
New Mic?? Rode is the bomb
Loses the rook and still gets the win with 1.2 secs on clock. Fierce
I loved the exercises despite getting a wooden spoon. At least I got the last one right and have a slightly better idea of play on weak squares
Ohh yeah, more content! :D Hell yeah!
I don't know about you guys, but I was not even close to solving those puzzles.
I enjoyed this format very much and would like to see more of the same!
That ON button is huge 😂
31:05 Is Nhf4 an okay move? It seems like a good way to grab the bishop or have it move? No? I think one of my biggest problems is trading pieces off too early. If I have a chance to grab a bishop, I almost always do it. The tension on the f6 bishop would be too much for me to let it escape. EDIT: Okay you went to f4 after the Qc2. So I guess it would have been okay but a bit early.
Also just wanted to add I love your content and teaching the best out there (and this format). You and Aman. My ONLY complaint is, I'd love to see a tad more variety, which was nice with the recent Kings Indian. But man! You really got me playing the Baba (I call it the Baba since a child used to call me that haha).
Let's move on to the... FOLLOWING exercise
Excellent! 🥰
Benzea the most glorious king and godhand of chess!
18:11 has me dead🤣🤣
Almost to 100k!
please add more exercises. Following your analysis during a game is illustrative but the exercises allow you to address specific topics and ideas.
Me see Alex post me click.
yes I liked the content
can i get your copy sir alex???
If they go knight f6 first move can’t you still play Jobava?
You can! (Most of the time)
9:50 Forgot to link the game. Any way good content thanks
I never know when to play rook a8 to b8 or c8 when doing the minority attack in the caro
Rb8 vs pawn on c3 and Rc8 vs knight on c3
@@AlexBanzea thanks daddy Alex
18:20 Here's hoping 25y from now, karma doesn't look you up. 😲😳☹️😭 Faf skit tho! Totally worth it!! 😆
Wait! You actually has sherlock holmes outfit? I thought you were count 😂
Wheres the Capablanca game pgn?

@@AlexBanzea Ty
@33:10 isn't that just a free bishop?
Nxf6, Qxf6, Bxc3. The only way to save the bishop is to take the N with g7 pawn and that looks like suicide for the black king.
doesnt look like that
@@AlexBanzea yep... knights move backwards and I'm bad at chess...
This is why I am stuck at 1300.
Oh another video less go!
