- As with last year's project, Metropolis Mayhem was created for the "Summer of Sonic" Convention in 2013.

Recorderdude wrote the lyrics and directed the majority of the scenes, while animation was handled by 792Ashman (Team Sonic), Whitesonic (Team Dark), RGX (Team Rose), TheWax (Team Chaotix) and KaDoYuu (Credits Sequence). We had over 12 different voice actors this time around, as well as background artists, musical composers and audio mixers (Special thanks to Dr. Mack Foxx for compiling all of the scenes - it wasn't easy!) The project in total took six months to complete. We all hope that you enjoy this presentation, and remember, you've got to flip the turtles.

I have intense 2016 nostalgia for Sonic Paradox, and I frequently come back to this video.

And I love how the teams' art styles blend together when they get into a fight.
Funny enough, Team Sonic, Rose and Chaotix looked like they had their animation styles switched from the first video. Only Team Dark kept their original style.

It's been about 9 years now and no sign of Casino Calamity. In fact, I doubt it's ever going to come out. You can find streams of the animators working on it, and apparently at least one of the animators said they finished their part a long time ago (assuming 2-3 years if not more). However, the Sonic Paradox team has given no updates about it and they even sound angry about people asking for information on it. They made a community post awhile ago and one of the things included in it said something to the like of 'The more people that ask about casino calamity, the longer till it comes out.' People wouldn't be asking about it though if Sonic Paradox would just give them the information they're asking for. So, it seems to me they're causing their own problem and then getting upset at their fans for wanting information.
I also know it doesn't take 9-10 years for a group of artists, animators, and editors to make a 10-20 minute animation. Even if they're doing other commissions and have jobs or school they do. It shouldn't even take 10 years for a single person to do it if they know how to draw and make animations. I'd also like to remind everyone that this animation (Metropolis Mayhem) didn't even take 2 years to make. So one of similar quality shouldn't take 5-10 times as long.
Not to be rude to them but, I think something happened and now the people running Sonic Paradox are just refusing to give any news or explanation. With how much animation has advanced in the last 9-10 years that should only make things easier to animate. I guarantee they could have had almost all of them done by now (saying they planned to do them all), if they actually cared anymore.
I wonder what the problem is, they have some parts finished but they refuse to give anymore info on it.
