Yeah I figured that out once I got it. Honestly I like to set up I had before i got hear sword it's good but not great It feels like such a waste now. I appreciate you commenting though hopefully you'll save some others. Because even before I saw this video I Heard people saying they completed the whole game with this weapon. So I was pumped when I got it and then once I started using it I was like 😑

Great walkthrough! A couple of things to add - 1. The Enchantress is one of the bosses the bucket guy can help you with if you start his well hidden quest first (just look online, no way of figuring out yourself) 2. Soulflay grevious strike is guaranteed to drop a rune. And there is a very conviniently placed trapper in this chapter to practice this on
Having a blast with this game. When they fix the performance all aroud it will be a 10/10 for me. The dread from being in umbral rushing to a checkpoint, no Souls game gave this much adrenaline imo.
I'm really enjoying this game so far but this area has been the first roadblock for me. Trying to fight the stone dude in umbral whilst getting ganked is testing my patience 😂
The stigma of Lower Calrath It won't appear if you did not pick up the flayed skin found after the first light reaper fight at the beginning of the game.

That infernal Enchantress feels a lot more offensive and powerful since the patch... I feel like I dont get the time to take out the blue skulls as she is pummeling me with explosives...
Yeah, she's really bugging me. Can't cast or approach her without getting torched.
You can take out the first 2 right hand skulls from quite a distance and take no damage. The one on the left you can do from in front of the boxes between her attacks. Then rush to take out the 4th and don’t worry about damage. After that, run back to the entrance, heal up and use range attacks and soul flay attacks.
In my opinion that’s the worst/most aggravating enemy in the game. You could be a mile on the other side of the map and she can somehow teleport her fire aoe exactly where you are it’s bs.
you upgraded your spells but didnt tell us how to get them? or am i missing something?
Took me a bit. You buy it off Molhu in Skyrest. Where you buy Pietas sword (he's in umbal down the dead end with the shrine). Offer remembrance to Pieta at him, the spells there (it costs 10 umbral scouring).Sell the plucked eyeballs at the shrine. It costs 3 to buy 1 umbral scouring and the eyeballs are very easy to farm, I had loads.

Dang it’s crazy watching you zoom by content. I know it’s a walkthrough so you know the areas and mobs really well but here I am getting farmed by the skull sword guys that heal themselves and you basically 3 shot kill them. I love it
I would just like to add, you can get "Infernal Weapon" in the Shrine area. If you are heading towards Damarose, hug the right side and it will be behind the Shrine of Adyr:)

Super cool that there’s a fire boss with hella fire resistance, really incentivizes playing an inferno build. Also super cool they’ve done yet another “what If you had to stand still while getting pelted with projectiles.”

Ah yes devs punish players for being skilled. It's so dumb that if you dedicate your time and effort to kill him early, you're rewarded by being locked out of the crusader class...

@@AndrewKidd14145 If you beat him at the start of the game, they should just give you the crusader gears and class all together imo. The quest design in this game is hella questionable, even more than FromSoft’s
I'm not gonna lie I don't care to go thru all that shit so I bought the dark crusader class for 8$, and idk if I'll go into ng+ so I want the good class now.
You think that’s dumb? There are three endings in this game, and opening a door or cleansing a beacon can lock you out of TWO whole endings just for making simple choices. The Umbral Ending to this game is especially convoluted, not only can you not cleanse any beacons or open the aforementioned door after killing the Iron Wayfarer, you will also wind up killing every NPC for the most part in the hub area.
You kill Pieta, Gerlinde, Molhu, and Damarose. So hopefully you got every single upgrade for your sanguinar whatever it’s called, and hopefully you got all those cracked tablets and gave the last one to Gerlinde’s prisoner. If not, then you will have to wait until new game plus to look for what you didn’t find in your first playthrough.
If you give the third tablet to that prisoner of Gerlinde, it will set him free AND grant you the ability to upgrade your weapons without the need of Gerlinde. So needless to say you should release him.

It's truly crazy watching this pietas sword was so much better then it is now. Smite barely happens I wish I knew before but I still like it since I'm holy anyways but seeing him destroy shit with the smite just makes me so jealous lol

I can't socket runes yet. I bought one but it doesn't show up in when I try to go socket it. Weird. Damarose also wasn't present at the end of the last episode. I feel like my PS5 save must be bugged.
Is there any benefit of doing the quest with the Lightreaper if you already have the deluxe edition? If not, then I can go ahead and try to kill the lightreaper now? Do I need to ask Kukajin for assistance or not for her quest line?
Also - thanks for doing these and for the Flayed Axe specifically! There was another set of collectible videos I had been using because it was further along on (before they dropped it completely for Spiderman) and even they missed that one!

I didn’t as well, this is my first play thru of the game, and he didn’t show up in skyrest like in the video, I’m not sure what I did wrong either. I’ve searched all over skyrest and can’t seem to locate him…what am I or what did I do wrong?
Same here. This is my first playthrough. I followed CB back to Skyrest but Thehk-Ihir wasn’t there. I’m guessing this was changed in a LotF update after CB made this walkthrough.
Buy the oendant from dunmire and use it...increases al holy dmg (spell and sword/hammer)..stacks with holy buff on weapons.
If you didn’t start as the Orian preacher and bought the hammer from the guy in the beginning is there a way to get a second orias preacher hammer??
is the enchantress buffed? in my game she used the flame thrower thing that hits for crazy damage

Anyone else struggle with the Infernal Enchantress boss fight???? I died maybe 10 times. CB said it was so easy that it wasn’t worth making notes😳
I'm struggling too. I think the patch made her a lot more difficult. Going to bed after getting torched for the 6th time.
@@fwagner9yeah buffed up the bosses,then the patch a couple days ago buffed up the endgame bosses even more.

I think the infernal enchantress is a lot harder now I managed to do it with radiant flare not bursting the bulbs. Using the entry area as a shield. Seems she can take good spell damage without doing that.
@fightingcowboy Have you tried interacting with the big tree in the open space where you fight the lightreaper?

How did you get Thek-Ihir in Skyrest? He won’t move for me and everyone else is saying it’s because we didn’t cleanse the beacon. But you didn’t cleanse the beacon either…

@@RavenFinland Didn’t screw with that door this time around! I’m not positive, but the only two things I can figure out is that it has something to do with the Pilgrim Perch key and how I went to Memorial early. Or, it’s because I got the Fief key too early by talking to that one guy at Skyrest right after Forsaken Fen. I literally started from zero again and followed Cowboys path to the t and he was there this time!
i think im mostly blown away with how you're dual wielding a hammer and a short sword XD instead of 2 short swords or vice versa but all in all good at ya
They really buffed all the bosses because I'm having so much trouble with them now while I've heard they were piss easy before
Yep I can vouch for that. I played the game about quarter of the way through and started again as I messed up. Bosses are definitely harder following the latest patch🤬
Super helpful walk through btw I’m sure you know now but you can totally duel wield Pieta Swords
CB has purchased Pietas spell (Blessed Reflections) without showing us so I went back to Skyrest to try and buy the spell from Molhu (using the Pieta rememberance). However I did not have enough Umbral Scourings. Fallen Lampbearers drop 3 plucked eyeballs which can be used to buy umbral scourings. A good place to farm a Fallen Lampbearer fight is just outside the Shrine Vestige. To trigger the respawn, warp to Skyrest, exit and reload the game, warp back to Shrine Vestige and repeat.

Okay, quitting out and reloaded fixed it like somebody suggested, his corpse didnt show up for some reason until reload which didnt initiate Damarose conversation.
Btw, you missed a weapon pickup behind the actual shrine in that room.

My experience: I made the mistake of ignoring the mages once and going straight to this chap here 13:03. Right as I got there, an invader by the name of GodKing99 had decided to join in on my suffering. My eyes had never beheld such fuckery as I was being jumped by mages, remnants, the mendacious visage, flaming sword chap, and GodKing99 who was spamming inferno spells
15:37 - Am I trippin? I don't ever remember him going back and picking the Pieta spell up? Also where did he get the stronger version of Radiant Flare? Can anyone help?
I also hated that he just happened to have new spells all of a sudden without showing... I got confused...

Anyone else think the density of enemies in unbral in this area is absolutely ridiculous and you don’t even get a lot of souls it’s like pointless to fight just run throw with o souls and grind somewhere else there’s literally o point in fighting enemies here
I remembered fighting lightreaper and a bunch of dogs ran in. How the hell is there no fog/butterflies wall blocking the mobs from entering in this boss fight...

@FigthinCowboy Weird bug where hitting 'next video' beside play button jumps back to your 2014 Walkthrough of LotF - it's an error on a few of these 2023 vids.
I found, (as a NOVICE/ NEWBIE) you can ignore the parasites and bumrush the boss with heavy weapons and frostbite salts. Easy first try for me.
I really want to see you fight her now cause now she has a flame thrower and all these little balls that explode along with that fire ball

I’ve been following your walkthroughs and they are fantastic, one question when I talk to Damarose at the shrine her dialog never is anything other than me being able to buy/sell. Is that normal?
There should be more dialogue if you're progressing the quest line

I just figured it out, if you’re having this issue you need to exit the game entirely and then try talking to damarose. That seemed to work for me

I'm running a radiance build but my left hand weapon is the Pricision Hammer that inflicts poison and it's saved me so many times. I beat this boss on my second try and didn't realize she was about to die until she died. I ran away in an attempt to avoid her fire tosses and fire spray and when I ran back to get a couple hits in I looked down and realized her health was about to hit zero. Before I got within reach she died. At first I was like, "How the f*ck did that happen" but then I remembered this hammer inflicts poison. I'm also wearing the bloodbane ring so I'm inflicting poison and bleed and my right hand is the Orian Preacher Hammer so I'm also hitting her with holy damage. I also put smite salts on so I was hitting her with that. The boss isnt' easy per say (but I'm also no where near cowboy's level - I'm not great at these games I just love them) but with the right build she will go down. The hardest thing was popping the parasites without gettng hit by her flame toss. those things do massive damage.
The crimson rector body didn't show up for me. Does it matter?

How bad is it if you don’t kill the crimson rector?? I got side tracked ended up killing the ruined first went back to kill the rector and he’s gone 😢
I used the Saints Halberd from the boss and poisoned her. Unfortunately she died of poison right after I died so I got no drops. They need to fix that and make it like Souls or Elden Ring where I will rematch instead of continuing without any drops if I die first.

And of course always laughing about my skills compared with yours.
But, that's my criticism:
Not all of y followers earn their money with gaming or from mom and dad to practice day by day.
Some of us pay full price for a game next to work full day and so on.
That's why I don't understand why you emphasize 'easy fight' so often, while 49 year old guys like me 20 stages in front still struggle.

Enchantress boss is way harder after updates. Just started this game a week ago and all of the bosses are way more aggro than on the walkthroughs vids...attack rate is at least 2x to 3x now vs when walkthrough was done.

I stubbornly spent hours (more like an entire day) trying until I killed the light reaper at the start of the game, and now I'm locked out of Isaac's questline. Damn me and my need to kill every tutorial boss in souls/souls-likes lol. Looks like playthrough number two is guaranteed for me
Ah yes the infernal enchantress.i had no clue bout the parisites so i just went toe to toe with her in her fire aura and came out with like 1hp. Never went into umbral so i didnt even know the parasites were a thing here 😂❤

I have a question. I didn't receive the laughter gesture even though I followed all the steps in your guide. Additionally, Crimson Rector's body did not appear, although I killed him, and the Beacon remains untouched. Could you please advise if this is okay?🙏
The only difference in my walkthrough was that after exhausting all of her dialogues in the previous video at 10:44 with her (before crimson guy) trading menu appeared. In your walkthrough, she just kept repeating the same lines.

Great walkthrough Cowboy as usual. Unfortunately the game is mediocre at best. Also how the hell is it possible to be wearing the heaviest armor with the best defense stats at level 75 and still take the same amount of damage? The armor and shields are worthless.

Hey Cowboy, I hate to have to ask this, but can you please help me out with a doubt with the umbral ending? I've tried to keep Damarose alive for as long as I could by not cleansing any beacons. Giving her all the flesh pieces expanded her stock, but seems like you only get her gear if you fight her (weapons) or side with her (weapon and armor) which requires the radiance and inferno endings respectively. I couldn't figure out if it is possible to keep Damarose alive any longer. Brahmis castle seems to be the cut off point for endings and she is inside the castle doors. So, seems like I can't keep her alive long enough to meet her inside if I go for the umbral ending. Tried it on multiple playthroughs, but couldn't come up with any workaround. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
If you can't fully complete her quest and the umbrel ending. After you give her the flesh pieces you'd have to give her a seed pod
Thanks a lot for the response. So, I guess the castle doors are as long as I can keep her alive and have to aim for her quest on a different playthrough or NG+.

Mana stones
12:10 is one of the dumbest placements for a seed bed. The enemies literally respawn right next to it and you can't rest until you kill them both. When you attack both it also agros the 4 mages from both directions who must also be killed otherwise their projectiles will hit you and prevent you from resting lol.
Another one not getting that merchant back at skyline rest (hah) around the 18 min mark, not sure why he didn’t show up

I didn’t know the fairy’s could pull you into umbrel while you were not peering into umbrel via the lamp, I was yoinked into umbrel twice by the same fairy. A real wtf moment that was. I’ve died to this light reaper 3 times and it keeps making me fight him.🙄
Cowboy, I killed the light reaper first time I saw him back at the windmill, did I fuck up the quest line? Can I still get umbral ending?
Yeah you're fine, his quest is tied to two NPCs not an ending

Fire enchantress is easy he said, no notes were made he said.... yeaaah even with high fire defense armor she hurts.. but if you stay on top of her she kinda stun locks stay close but vigilant

The umbral memory for the scouring at 17:17 wasnt there for me. Possible glitch or another reason this could be?
So it's because I bought the deluxe version of the game which unlocks the dark crusader class already. Therefore Isaac's quest isn't going to be in game. 😅
I have the standard edition and no memory for me there either. Not sure why though. I assumed it was possibly due to the latest patch that bugged some things..

@@dilapidatedmimbayou have to have picked up the flayed skin after the very first light reaper boss in the tutorial (it’s around the corner just after the arena you fight in)
