The drummer is Jeff Hamilton - jazz great !
love Diana Krall keep coming back to her and I like allot of Jazz but something about her upbeat take she sends me into a painting mood as that is what I do,
Terrific drum solo by Jeff Hamilton for a great song. Nice that he's always smiling; like he knows something none of us do.
Just another jazz piano genius that I ignored and that a friend of mine from Tunisia told me about last night. What a wonderful soul ... also her friends here at bass, guitar, and drums perfrom very well ... thank you!
I really love this audience!
James Bond would claim that he doesn't know enough about jazz but he does know a bit about sensuousness. Diana has that dreamy, transported aura when tinkling the keys and singing that is irresistibly sexy and sensuous, Loves the way she goes about her craft.
Amazing, amazing, amazing.........
'Swinging their butts off.." as my big band singer mom used to say...
Such talent devoted to jazz in an era of autotune and lyrics containing baby 70% of the whole thing. Gotta love and respect nothing else to do
You're right, Jeff Hamilton did play with the Ray Brown Trio. Saw them at Jazz Alley in Seattle many years ago.
One of the concert highlights but sadly not on the album release.
LIEVE DIANNAIK WET DAT IK VAN JE HOU ALLES MOET NG GEVONDEN WORDER

how did this ever get cut from the album? amazing performance
@jetglo325 ...and Benny Green was the piano player......
Great performance! Who's the drummer? I think I saw him playing in Ray Brown Trio. BTW, First part (solo piano) is Gravy Waltz.
Hi..me again😇 I know this song isn’t about me because you met somebody who knows my all devils and my deeds and believe me she does🦓🌹I would just add one other thing to my résumé for anyone interested “ she is an open book” now there ..that is one person outside of your closest associates and family that you know everything about…I hope you can carry that heavy load …please don’t drop me.
Anthony Wilson’s guitar solo on this helped me shaped who I am as musician from super early on. What a master.
Good blood lines. His dad is Gerald Wilson who was a great one.
