I've just recently bought the ddj 400 it was between that and the Numark dj party but the Numark wasn't in stock I'm already looking for my next intermediate purchase when I graduate from the school of beginners and this looks like a good contender.
Also could I add my own songs from my laptop or music on my USB etc? And will they show on the screen?

Hi, does the unit have a limiter?
I mean, when the channel meter becomes white I guess I'm at 0DB but does it go over that or does it limit the signal to zero?
Is there any way to limit the signal so that I never clip to external gear I may be connected to?

It should work. Something like the Omni 20 you can specify the voltage to use which I think is 12v and 3A. It should run for hours.
