Q: Can I animate/rig/make the model move on my phone?
A: No. It's not possible yet, but maybe one day!
Q: Can your friend rig my model?
A: If you pay her! Her prices are very affordable.
Q: Can you make a video on how to rig the model?
A: I struggle a lot with using Live2D and I don't really understand it much. So at this time, I don't know how.
Q: How do I use the model after rigging it?
A: On a PC or laptop, install prprLIVE or VtubeStudio on Steam. They'll show you how to!
Q; How do I export it?

Q: Is this free?
A: Yes!! You might have to watch an ad for a different brush or feature, but other than that everything that you need is free!
Q: Can I do this on an iPad?

I made lots on my ipad.. but never used them.. were only to practice with the live2d :c I felt like I wasnt good enough so I left them..
I posted some of them to use freely on a Facebook group, but there is a couple I just deleted.. I liked them but..
Hey how do I export my model into live2d because every time I do it it says that it’s not the right format even though I have it as psd it keeps saying that my state is not supported what do I do I have not found anything that helps or covers this😢 (edit: I got it figured out I was in the viewer instead of the app oops😶
@@lolmyomywhen you finish your model, you click on the box with an arrow pointing up, then preserved layers, save it onto your device, if you made it on mobile, then save it in google drive.
After that you enter drive on your computer, then download the file and insert it in live 2d.

After a small doodle I was proud of today, using the ibis tracing photo layering, I was able to turn my art into a layered piece within an hour. I’m really proud of myself. This video helped a lot

Word of advice, be SUPER careful when setting up art meshes for models made with ibis, sometimes the texture will disappear
Edit: should have added a work around suggestion. I usually just add auto artmeshes one by one or in small groups rather than all at once

This was exactly what ivebeen looking for as a person who needs specific instructions and detailed lists of how to do things,, i was struggling so so hard with trying to start and wrap my mind around the idea of making a model and how to do it but this was so easy and precise :D

Hi really like how indept this especially you show what is first to draw to indicate what where first to last in each folder. So here a couple of qns.
What the recommended size for full body scale and is it same as the size you recommend while making the half body model?
Do you combine the colour shading and lineart of each part layer?
Another in terms of layers and folder what us a right order for it?
1. For the size, look up the biggest size canvas you can do on the free version of Live2D. I'd make it the same size even if it's a half body.
2. Once you're sure that you like it, yes, combine them all. Unless you want to do extra editing in live2d, it'll just make it easier.
3. For layers, just make sure everything is visible, hair should be on top, then eyes, then clothes, then body

I tried sending my file to a private server on my discord but it doesn't work for some reason. Is there a fix to this or any other way to get it on computer?
I had so many layers my ibispaint kept crashing 😭
try exporting it to google drive insetad if possible as discord disgustingly crunches the quality of anything sent in there and you can keep 100 percent of the resolution you made the canvas and dpi so large for or else that step is quite literally useless as it just ruins it again after the export

Hello thank you sm about this but is there any apps on mobile for rigging? My computer has a habit of overheating and yeah so thanks if you can recommend any :)
Unfortunately there's not, and even if there was, there's no apps to use the model on your phone either. After the making of the model, you're pretty much required to have a computer.
This is really helpful, but how can I move a drawing? Like how can you add to see me and do what I do I don’t understand very well.😅
When you press the layers button, there will be a little white button with a black background. It looks like a "+", but has an arrow on every end. Press that to move it!
So if you do a rig on your laptop what kind of laptop do you have because I am going to get one just so I can rig ?
I have a PC, not a laptop. But I would suggest a gaming laptop with a good graphics card

Separate layer! This way you can make them sway separately :)
Question you haven’t gotten yet! So My potential model has connected eyelines, is it necessary to separate it though??
Nope! It can work like that, it might just look a little weird and will take longer to rig

@@Kallensayz yes, so they overlap correctly so you can see the layers in the way they need to be seen (hair on top, eyes, clothes, then body)

Currently, you can't animate the model on a phone. I also don't know how to do it on a computer. I only know how to do this part.
If you still need help I can rig it I can always offer to rig it for free for people who need it :)

You can make it however you want. Make yours unique!

It's one of the buttons near the "+" icon when adding layers, mess around with those until you find the "add folder" button!!
You see, if I could actually draw good, this would be very helpful for me(it still is), but I'm still horrible at drawing, and I think drawing on mobile would be the death of my fingers. But I will use this for future reference 😅

1. You can draw backgrounds, but make them separate from your model. Make them in a different project!
2. You can use your character by installing prprLive or VTubeStudio on Windows a MacBook.
3. Unfortunately, you cannot use your model on a mobile device yet.
