Good lecture. Do you have any Philosophy of Law or P.o.Economics? P.o. Law is usually pretty interesting and satisfying. Economics in general is often problematic if evaluated by anything other than mathematics but I think any philosophy of economics could raise some interesting questions.

    I wasn't ever a fan on the positive/negative distinction.
I always felt like you could always reinterpret both a positive or negative right as a duty for another person, because the maintenance of any right requires others to restrict their behavior in a way that can sometimes be more demanding then whatever duties are needed to preserve some other right of the opposite pole.
There seems to always be this relationship within freedoms between the individual and the other people where no individual can really have any kind of "right" without placing "obligations" on the other people. Maybe I'm using this word wrong, but this seems a *dialectic* of sorts.

Yes, when one doesn't understand the concept he is trying to evaluate, he will find all sorts of contradictions.

It’s time to discuss paradoxes of Sen. His bizarre stance of supporting the corrupt regime of Mamata Banerjee leaves many speechless!
