- I am making a simple curved epoxy table lamp using olive and walnut wood.
On the lamp, touch on/off button and 12V daylight LED are used.
Mirka Autonet sandpaper was used during the sanding phase.
Mirka Polarshine 35 and Mirka Polarshine 10 were used in the polishing process.

Incredible…. When you first hit the resin with your 80 grit bench sander, I thought that would be it! Incredible to see by working through the grades how you got it glass clear. Impressive!

Can a suggest a night light kind of aquarium build with moving fishes? Perhaps you can use a shaft and cogwheel made out of resin. That will be a gorgeous build! It will be challenging but rewarding.

Very nice indeed. I’ve been a woodworker for over45 years and have worked with epoxy for many years. Its not my favourite thing to use with wood although I understand it can mean using pieces that would otherwise be fire wood. However, your use of epoxy is imaginative and clever. Many congratulations.

It would be really cool to introduce some laser sources on one end of it beings criss crossing in the resin. unidirectional coherent light source dont give that effect. I am inspired to try this but not sure if I go epoxy route, too much work, I will try with acrylic sheets. I know it does internally reflect lasers quite well and if you do frosted, it would feel likes its glowing.

how do you cut so easy with the band saw? every time i try, with a fence or not. The blade wants to start curving. Every single time. Please help if you can.
The video is accelerated while using the saw, please take this into account.
If your saw wants to go left and right while cutting, the saw teeth are deformed, you should either sharpen the saw or install a new one.

This circuit is magnetically tactile. Thanks to this, it acts as a touch button very easily inside or behind wood and similar materials.
After the necessary electrical connections are made, all you have to do is to position the round small copper plate at the end of the circuit in a suitable place.

Genuine question: wouldn't it be better to try to insert an LED inside where epoxy meets wood? Drill a hole in the wooden piece or smth. And probaly a couple of tiny ones for ventilation purposes.
I've got no idea if it would work but I suspect it may fill the epoxy part with light in a slightly more natural way and instead of redirecting it would start emitting light. But you won't be able to place many LEDs there of course...
In my previous works, I applied lighting as you mentioned, in this work I wanted to try such lighting. Thanks for your recommendation.👍👍👍
How do you prevent the resin from sticking to the wood base?
I cover the floor with large clear tape.

Oui, j'ai utilisé une simple surface en carton comme moule en la recouvrant de scotch transparent.

Sorry, I thought it was some kind of crystal or glass but when I re-watched the video I realized it was epoxy resin.
In my opinion it will be better if you made it blur.
You can do this by sandblasting or maybe using sandpaper.
This helps the light spread better like a diffuser.
Unfortunately, this process creates a very bad appearance in epoxy.
Sandblasting or sanding will make the surface look very bad.

What material do you use to make the frame?
I use cardboard and cover its surface with transparent tape.

How does the switch work?
This is a proximity sensing circuit that works like touch.
After making the necessary connections and positioning the round yellow copper plate and the circuit, it is ready for use.
It detects from behind the wood up to approximately 2 cm. (I only tested it on wood, I did not test it on other materials such as metal or plastic.)
It has a very simple structure.
One-touch on-off, and long touches change the brightness of the light.

Basınçlı tank kullanımı baloncuk oluşumunun minumum seviyeye indirmesi içindir.
Vakumlamaya alternatif olarak kullanılmaktadır.
