    As per your info, looks like students coming here has to be on some temporary permit as long as they stay here. You cant stay permanently? Like in Canada after meeting certain conditions you become a Permanent Resident and then in next few yrs a Citizen. If this is all correct about France then Dont waste money, come to Canada.

    Great info! Could you please tell if the duration of the study period is counted within the 5-year stay requirement in France in order to apply for PR?

    • @Mrtribru69
      @Mrtribru69 Před 2 lety

      Normally the study period is not counted...as far as I know....because your status was a temporary student status. When you are employed, you start contributing to the country by paying taxes. And that first month of tax paying counts. Learn French as much as possible to get more opportunities. I am not living in France, but the neighbouring Belgium ( past many years) . Resident permit rules are almost the same in all Schengen countries. Keep in mind that, there are tough competition from all other International students from all over the world, who intend to stay and work in France, or any other EU countries. Studying in France or other neighbouring countries does not guarantee a job or resident permit after studies. Depends upon sheer luck or how smart you are at work. Good luck
