Though there are many radio's and radio transmitters from China that can operate the whole Shortwave, and somehow the Chinese don't do difficult about it. more technical, most modern radio's (and tranceivers) from anywhere are what's called Software Defined Radio's meaning everything can be archieved by manupilating the software. And yes if you are willing it is not difficult to do. I know this as I do this myselve 🙂

Hello, LC90 radio currently only supports passive antennas
I love the blueish plastic case and bright knobs. The Chinese version looks a little better to me, brighter and more modern.
