Sir why the poem name lotus eater

first of all its a short story not poem ...
the poem of lotus eater is written by another author tenyson and this particular work is of maugham.
and the title is named as lotus eater becuase.. after the trojan war .. the crew member while their home, took a break on a lotus island n later on they were hypnotised by eating the lotus plant .. n were not willing to work anymore and wanted to live their rest of the life in leisure ...so, similar to that classical concept this story holds the same concept as Wilson was not willing to work any more n wanted to live in leisure .
