It's kind of like the Touhou equivalent of The Room, but there's a weird community around it, so I'm just here for remixes of Honobono Shrine (Heartwarming Shrine), the remix of Dichromatic Lotus Butterfly used in that video's intro. There's also a community that makes YTPMVs out of that video and other fan works based on it, which I sometimes look at.

사실 서방프로젝트는 뭔가 소리가 정갈한 느낌이라 어딘가 정적이었는데 구작동방버전은 뭔가 다르네요
서방은 뭔가 MIDI같은 느낌이 들더군요.

Why it reminds me much of Genesis music?(sounding, types of channels etc.)
I think the PC-98 sound chip is very similar to the Genesis sound chip, if not straight up related
The OPN2 and OPNA are of the same family of sound chips, and back in the day, many Japanese Mega Drive composers made their music on the PC-88 using the OPNA sound chip via the Mucom88 music program, and then port their music over to the Mega Drive as SMPS music files!😄
