- Here is a little demo for a project I have been working on which uses serial communications from a flight computer and is then processed in Visual Studio in C#.

Edit: Please note that I am working on a 2nd version of the dashboard and is to be expected to release in mid-2024 with the Vega Series of the flight computer
Let me know if I should make a part 2 going into detail about how all the code works!

UPDATE: As you all may know, I’m working on a newer version of this and I will try to make a demo video soon! It has a much more modern UI and I had a lot of sleepless nights working on it. So I hope you will like it :)
If you have ideas for extra features you want me to add or questions, email me at info@cosmicaero.space
This is really awesome work. Nice job!
Let me know if I should make a part 2
please go for the part-2
please do part 2 and if you could explain how to build a dashboard
@@itsmanlikehark3203I’m currently updating some UI functions. You can check out my website for more information regarding the software of the dashboard
This is very nice work. You provide a very clean, informative interface. Good Job.
Thank you! Means a lot:)
This is really awesome!
😊 thank you
DUDE, you are amazing!
Im glad you enjoyed the Alpha version. A newer version will be released with the Vega flight computers!! With better UI enterface and wireless communications
@@CosmicAerospace yoo, thats crazy! waiting!!!
Check Out how you can implement this for your avionics, btw I am currently updating the UI and software for version 1.1 of the dashboard.
Check out the complete article here: cosmicaero.space/tower
What buzzer is that? How is it controlled?
hello, very good work, is there any high power rocket avionics that you recomend?
Currently I think that commercially available parts are the best option for high powered. Make sure to diversify the components. I focus more on medium-low powered but I am planning on moving to more reliable systems.
now this is realy nice but how are you suppose to get the data via usb connection if you are flighing them rockets? maybe add an nrf24l01 or wifi RF module to get the data in real time while in flight.
Thank you for your interest.
This was a demo but I am currently remaking the entire software, transforming it into the flutter framework. It will have multiple pages for general graphs, to location, gps, transmission and so on while mainting this simplicity.
It will be release at the same time that I release the VEGA 300 series of flight computers which will come with a module to hookup to your computer for wireless communication.
The flight computer itself will have an integrated transceiver.
My aim is to release it by August but delays will occur if I believe that there can still be improvements. Quality >>
On the next version of the GUI could you add in a artificial horizon and implement GPS
Hey there! The tower is currently being completely modified to another framework so that it’s more interactive and visually pleasing. I’m currently testing GPS implementations to take location data from the flight computer and insert them into a map to locate the rocket.
Please can you make a step by step video on how to build it from scratch
Hey! The tower is currently going through a major update and is shifting platforms completely. Its likely to be released with the Vega 300 series flight computer
can you please give me the full code for arduino ide
The code is available on my website under open sourced :)
Thank your buddy
Is this on Github? If so I'd love to contribute!
soon!
