imo Klay would retire before he plays for another team. The way he looked after the game was the look of someone bitter-sweet, sad that its over but happy about what they have achieved. GSW said they don't wanna be in the tax next year and resigning Klay to a reasonable number e.g. 20 mil, would put them in the tax. Might be best for Klay's legacy to retire now, and free up cap space for a decent free agent market this summer

Mike Brown was coaching his ass off. Didn’t let the Kings take their foot off the Warriors necks. That man Ellis deserves flowers for the defense he played against Curry. Btw idk if there’s something I just don’t fundamentally understand but I couldn’t figure out why Kerr refused to play Looney. They were getting demolished on the boards. Makes me think. Is Kerr an elite coach, or did he just have the right system with the right players and the right time, because that system isn't working anymore. Everyone knows how to defend it. And Kerr don't know whay else to do. Steph deserves better
@@SilkyLew Kerr seemingly was good at teaching free flowing offense which came from the branch of the Spurs/Coach Pop. Other than that tho he hasn’t shown he can make defensive adjustments that great or adjust rotations well. And he historically seems to not be good at keeping his players in line and creating a safe environment for his players. I.e letting Draymond run off an all time great in KD by disrespecting him or even allowing Draymond to run off a young player in Poole who showed potential to help carry the Warriors into the future. Poole was a major reason they won in 2022 when Klay and Draymond disappeared. But he allows all that to happen. Only time will tell if he can continue some type of success with a different cast of players

I think this is really the end of the GSW dynasty... sad how it ended, but it was great for basically a decade.
The Warriors should go on without Klay/CP3 and let Podziemski/Moody/Payton take over the guard minutes. Develop Jackson-Davis as a big and give Kuminga 30+ minutes... then maybe they can have a final run with Curry/Green in smaller roles in 2 years

Bro I was at thise Sacramento Kings game with my girlfriend and at first, I really didn't want to go because I had zero confidence in my Kings beating Golden State because Golden State has owned Ed us but my girlfriend really really wanted to go to that game so she basically forced me to go to this game by dragging me to the game and I was like okay fine, let's go to the game but I said that if Sacramento loses, I'm not talking to anyone for at least 3 days and for Sacramento to beat Golden State, me and my girlfriend were celebrating with my mom and my older sisters but I will say this. Once we was going back home, my girlfriend scolded me for 10 minutes straight become I had zero confidence in our Kings beating Golden State and yeah I deserve that scolded alot. Teams become too egotistical icl. Klay thinks hes a top 10 player, Green is too busy glazing lebron, trying to get a ufc contract and recording podcasts and Steve Kerr is too stubborn to make the changes that the team desperately needs. (Idk if that's directly his fault of the organisation itself but making no trades and letting the role players who won your last ring go for nothing is beyond stupid.)
It’s not that deep. You had a core of guys that’s brought you 4 championships in the last decade. Presumably the franchise wanted to and will still want to ride with those guys till they’re done. They’re loyal to their guys and there was a chance, albeit small, but a chance. Only one team can win.

All the people so emotionally overly attached to Steph, Klay, and Draymond need to grow up. Great trios never spend their entire career together because it isn’t about best buds playing ball, it’s about winning. Eventually Pippen and Rodman left Jordan, Shaq left Kobe, Parker and Leonard left Duncan and Ginobli, James left Bosh and Wade, etc etc etc. there is zero reason for a franchise to pull a Nowitzki/Kobe but for 3 guys (hold on and spend way too much for way too long and watch your team suffer as a result).

Coming from a Magic fan, I may not believe in the recent rumors but it wouldn’t shock me if Klay comes to Orlando this offseason since they have cap space. as a diehard warriors fan since steph entered the league, I couldn't help but shed some tears near the end of this game knowing it might be the last time I see that legendary trio together - and even if I do, their run of dominance together is clearly over. all good things come to an end, but those guys were the core of some of the greatest basketball teams of all time, i'm lucky to have been able to see them at their best and attend one of their series-clinching finals games.

Kerr is a bad coach but Curry has been with him for ages and has had plenty of good games don’t see how that’s an excuse. Fact is Curry was less aggressive then he needed to be. Look at Klay’s 0/10 or other guys all you want but Curry ultimately did too little too late and should be criticized like any other superstar would

The Warriors spent a lot of money on their roster this season to be the 10th seed and they don't even get into the playoffs on top of that. This Warriors era is done for sure.
It may be done but the front office will not blow it up as long as Steph is on the roster. They will try to field a competitive team regardless of what the pundits say.
