Low frequency type inverter is used in the system. Efficiency of the system won't be good and not more than 74% . Losses from such inverters are very high. Instead of this he should have used sunny boy trisolar or delta hybrid or Fronius. Efficiency of these inverters is not less than 97%. I am using delta m6a and it's efficiency is more than 98%. Twelve 500w trina panels of 6kw with delta inverter produces around 40 units of electricity in a day, which is enough for me in these scorching summers to run three air conditioning systems of 18000btu each.

What is the battery backup power ?
