Thank you for this. The Dealership just tried to charge me $287.95 to do just the cabin air filter replacement. I got an "A Performance" set off amazon for $15.99 and will be doing the repair myself. I also have a 2018 M550 in Alpine White at 56k miles.
I have the same 2018 M550 and BMW almost charge me 545$ to replace the cabin filters and 321$ for the engine filters, good job, can you make a video of how to replace the spark plugs?
Dealerships are ripoff!!! I most likely will be doing a video doing plugs and coils, Im at 60k miles so I will be doing it soon. Will be doing a 6 month ownership review really soon, already had the car for a bit over 6 months.
@@indigoscat3922 Nice, my car is now on 52k, I have for 2 years now, and so far all good, really like it, and BMW sent me an additional warranty of up to 150k or 15 years for Charge Air Intercooler and Engine Coolant Thermostat, you shut check if yours eligible as well

Thanks for the video. One comment is the cover bolts on both the intake and the cabin air filter are Torx vs. hex head (you showed an Allen wrench).
I used an allen because thats what I had but I believe is an hex head if I remember well. But the allen will work just fine for sure.

@@arikyusupov8264 thats about it. Maybe a screw driver to help you open the plastic case but I dont think you will need anything else
