Actually I prefer to wait for most of the planes to merge flying at low altitude. Then use my radar guided missiles to engage targets about 10 kms
10/12/15km are my launch distances depending of altitude, radar and missile
Same it's how ur supposed to play BVR at this point unless it in an F14S is a waste of missiles

it is at the moment just not possible to seperate friendly F4S perma locking you for some reason, or actual enemys if you ask me. there is not a single game where im not being locked 60-80% of the game
Omg it’s so annoying as if the paranoia wasn’t enough in top tier.
Only some of that is actual players locking on to you.
Some of the maps have fully modeled ground forces and the SPAA will lock you with their radars.
Just beware that those SPAA will absolutely shoot you down in a millisecond if you get too close.
I think this is caused by the new RWR change
@@Z45HR4 jea i am aware of the SPAA when flying over the actual battlefield. What i mean is after take off being locked from at least 1 friendly from behind, for most of the flight time to the furbuall..

spit the throttles while cracking and notching a inbound missle will have to work really hard to hit you if you turn direction with on engine then go back to full burner after the turn😅

The viggens radars in the game are so bad you dont even have to move or flare and it will lose lock
Cabt do it in am F4 is i turn my nose away i lose lock
Notching is very dangerous against R-27s cause they have that IOG
Yeah you gotta get them in the notch, then pull a split s or something

@@zitrone2250 Due to the radar settings of the MiG-29 and Yak-141 (no normal pulse mode), going cold completely near low altitude basically just makes the R-27s give up and pitch into the ground, sometimes even going cold while climbing does the same thing.
@@kommandantkillcode if you are low to the ground why go cold works with all radars
The Mig 29 struggles a bit more with that but the 141 can easily aquire a reare lock and guide in an R27
@@zitrone2250 I said going cold while already being low make the missile just go straight into the ground. It doesn’t even get near the target, and instead veers into the ground like 2km away. The other radar missiles don’t miss by so much at low altitude when chasing a target.
I just suck at dodging missiles 😅😅
How do you lock onto a target from over 10k? My acm only has 10k range
Switch out of acm?
Don’t use ACM for that lol you’re supposed to press the key bind for “Lock radar target”
