  • Does Jeep have its crosshairs on the Ford Raptor? With the introduction of Jeep's first "Desert Rated" vehicle, the Gladiator Mojave, we give it a proper test in the vast deserts of Nevada. It features a race-inspired suspension, electronic wizardry such as Off-Road Plus, was a blast to drive, and surpassed our expectations.

    Where was this filmed? Also, I think the 392 would be overkill. While capable, it's still a jeep at heart. I don't think I'd want to jump this at 60 mph.

    So I want to take my Mojave to the dunes. Would I be looking to use 4L with rears locked or 4H off road plus?

    Hello I’m a new for jeep I have gladiator Mojave also can I ask your a question please.
    A question is what transmission this you used to run on a sand with speed on this video Sir.

  • @bwiesman
    @bwiesman Před 2 lety

    I see you are kinda drifting sideways on some of those runs like I was last week on dunes. Did you ever figure out how to not do that? I’m guessing lower tire pressure. I was at 17 how bout you?

    The wind noise - a wind sock would be great.

      Sorry about that guys. The wind wasn't that bad, and I realized after the shoot that my mic was rubbing on my jacket. We were run'n and gun'n, and didn't preview clips on a laptop prior to moving on.

    the best Mojave deal is a base Mojave with a magnuson super charger. Or wait for the V8 version that may come out next year. The cloth sport seats with orange stitching is top notch. No need to leather heated seats. Save the money and focus on power, lights, roll bar, etc. In the end you'll have a bad ass ride. PS. the hood scoop is for cosmetic only. It's completely covered on the inside.

    Did you drop tire pressure at all when hitting the sand dunes? Is it necessary?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures Před 2 lety +1

      You won't get far without dropping pressures. 12 to 16 is ideal for most dunes.
