Unforgettable Camping Overnight in Boat Snapper Fishing Adventure Westernport

- epic overnight adventure in beautiful Western Port! 🎣🚤 Swapped out the boat seats for my swag and cooker, and set off for some incredible fishing. Within the first 30 minutes, I landed 3 snapper around 2-2.5kg and 7 pan-sized beauties. Even had a close encounter with a hammerhead shark!
After the morning session, my buddy Brock joined me straight from work, and we headed up to the top end for a relaxed afternoon of fishing and BBQing some snags. 🌭 The action continued with 3 elephant sharks and a nice-sized panny.
As the sun set, I dropped Brock off and found a cozy spot sheltered from the wind to roll out my swag and catch some z's under the stars. 🌌 The next morning, I was back at it, catching 4 gummies while cooking up some bacon and eggs on the BBQ. 🍳
Every catch was made using squid or King George whiting I caught myself, and of course, I had my trusty Reedy's 187 Hooks in action. 🎣 Had a blast recording most of the trip, and I can't wait to share some highlights with you all. What are your rod n reel set ups Brett.?
I use a Shimano Saragosa 5000 reel paired with a Shimano Teraz rod, spooled with 30lb braid, for my fishing needs. This combo serves me well for targeting Snapper, school tuna and gummy sharks. Although it's a bit pricey, I've found it to be incredibly durable, even with my rough handling. In my experience, nothing else comes close in terms of quality.
