Mary J Blige is the greatest female R&b artist in history. Now for some it may be debatable, But personally I don't think it's up for debate. This woman has released quality music for almost 30 years. 29 to be exact. She has been relevant for all 29 years. I remember the first time I heard Mary J Blige, I was in a car at age 3, July 93 heading to Chuck e cheese in Laurel Maryland, And Love No Limit was playing on the radio. Now that was 28 years ago to the month. And by the grace of our Beautiful God, she is still going and going strong. Now their may be other singers who has a better voice than her ie... Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and other, But as far consistency, passion, heartfelt songs, No other female r&b artist comes close. Period
