Ah! good question! Allow me to clarify: I was describing the accuracy of this tool by visual inspection only (that is, I did not take few of those metal thin strips to test at spots here and there). I visually inspected 90 degrees with multiple different squares I have and they all comes out to be excellent. Considering the price tag for this tool, I felt it was not fair to compare it with top of the line products (which often times have claims such as "accurate within one thousandth of an inch"). For professionals, perhaps it's worth their money to invest in high price tagged, big brand tools; but for an average DIYer like me, this tool is excellent :)
