I lived in Japan in the 50s and 60s. It certainly has changed. Love your videos. These bring back fond memories.
Japan is definitely on my Bucket List to visit one day. I love the Culture, People and of course, THE FOOD! Lol
Be very careful. Avoid any and all trouble, even being near it. More so as a foreigner, and discrimination. There legal system is based on locking you up till you confess to your crimes. Sometimes it's better to confess even if you didn't do it.

Their place along the river was gorgeous. It seemed like every bit of space was utilized there in the city with all the shops, the huge buildings and vending machines everywhere. It was amazing. I don’t know how long all the stores stay open but from the looks of the 7-11 stores you have to get there early. I love how you try all these different foods and give your honest opinions on what’s real good or just ok good. I love tagging along with you as you travel the world as like so many other people these are places I will never get to myself. You try to show as much as you can to us also. I thank you so much for sharing your journeys. Your box of foods looked very interesting.
Japan is on my bucket list of places to go too. Enjoy your self and be safe and careful there and god bless u always 🙏.

When I went to Akihabara--sue me, I love Akiba--there were girls promoting Maidreamin' on every street corner, no joke. I love me some 7-11 onigiris as well--those are SO good. Cherry Blossom Miku for the WIN! It's cool that you're getting your own snack box with Sugoi Mart, too. I can't afford a subscription like that, but it's a cool idea anyway.

I wish the US carried more Asian foods. I'd love to try things like you did, the Red Bean Paste desserts and stuff and those packaged meals. I love Asian foods, Mexican and so on. One store where I live has started carrying more varieties of food since they remodeled. Used to be all you got as far as Asian food is two different kinds of Ramen and a few sauces and some Chinese food like chow mein but now they have some Kimchi, different kinds of Tofu, Rice Noodles and so on. They have a lot now and I plan to try some of it. I like those vending machines. They have vending machines in New York that serve hot meals that are always fresh. They have cooks behind the scenes that are cooking for the machines that you don't see. I think that's cool. It's beautiful in Japan. I'd love to visit there.
The “Gigamax” noodle pack should feed a family of four or a group of 4-6, Joey aka “The Anime Man” did one of these a few months ago with his girlfriend, Aki, and their cameraman. I would never tackle one of these by my lonesome.

There is a “pizza bun”-style savory offering at my local “Donut King,” where in a crust wrap they put in pepperoni, cheese and sauce. If I have time, I will usually order it (and if I don’t have to diet either).

Hi Raina......I have a reccomendation - you usuaully do an american style of makeup - big eyes, eyelashes, loud lips etc - maybe you can try a comparison with asian style makeover like red coloured lips and eyes? just to show us a difference? since you are ethnically asian?

Everyone thinks sushi when talking about Japan. And I think Raina likes sushi but I would look at what the Japanese citizen eats every day. Like ramen or rice and chicken. I bet there’s something new. Tho I think it was with Raina I saw the rice and chicken curry restaurant for the first time in Japan.

It really does seem like Japan does think of everything to make your life more convenient. America could learn a thing or two from the Japanese. I've never seen a 7-11 like that in my life. The selection is outstanding.

Japan is very much an 'on the go' culture. Their 7/11's are next level. Even just their convenience stores in general. Hong Kong is another fav of mine followed by Seoul Korea.... None the less, Japan is the GOAT in this area.
