Westbury Music Fair (Capital One Theatre), Long Island NY
I saw Frankie Valli on the third and final night (Sunday 10/11/09) of his sold out performance at Westbury Music Fair. What more can I say, he is a legend and still has a great voice at age 75! I would recommend going to see one of his shows, he is not to be missed! I had hoped that he would sing "Opus 17", but it was not included in the set. The comedian who opened the show was FUNNY and very entertaining.
After the show, I waited to see if I could get a chance to see Frankie closeup in person. Not sure if he was still there or not, a group of people gathered and patiently waited for a glimpse of him. Other band members gradually exited the building, and after one hour of waiting he appeared! Frankie stood in the cold and signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans. What a gentleman he was for taking the time to greet everyone who waited so long - Thanks Frankie!

Sitting in a little cafe in Dunfermline with my cousin Sheila and Sheila's friend Myrna Braebrook listening to this song. I was 6 years old. Today I'm 60 years old. Came a long way. I felt the magic--being with the big girls, all pretty with their pouffed up hair and their dresses with sticky-out petticoats, drinking Coca Cola, listening to young men singing their hearts out for a young girl. We were living it. We were all Sherry. We still are.

I'm 32 and when I was in elementary school back in the late 80's and early 90's, I use to listen to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on cassette with my walkman on the bus to school.
i no im only young but i love the jersey boys i even went to there concert in melbourne it was the best i loved it i would reconment anyone to see it.

Just returned from a similar sold out concert in Clearwater! Can you believe his voice is the same as it was in the sixties! Frankie peeled back years of my memory and brought me right back to my American Bandstand days! You still got it, Frankie!

Not too bad from throat cancer recovery. There is a clip on this sit where he was singing this song live when he was younger...his voice was very powerful...sounded like a trumpet! Too bad we have to get old.
Oh! the memories this song brings back. Riding around on hot summer nights in my hot rod Chevy, listening to this song and looking for "chicks". lol We were just kids, looking for a good time. This song made it better.

James Hansen From what we see of his lips, it looks like he is actually singing. Bear in mind, videos of performances aren't always the best thing to use when determining whether or not someone's lip syncing.

Awesome! i feel old. My teenage cousin was listening tothis when I was 5 or 6, i loved it then as much as now.
As much as I love Frankie and the 4, we must all realize this was one of the first "boy-bands" of the 60's. Just think of them as the baby-boomer version of nsync. But much better. I love the vocal harmonies of the original line-up. I'm in my mid 30's but this stuff still reminds me of being in the car on the way to grandma's house. Good memories.

Frankies tone and pitch are quite remarkable given the fact that he sings in a range that generaly diminishes at a fairly young age. He and his singers do themselves proud on this clip.
