For some men, it's most painful coming out and being true to yourself.
The self imposed pressure can be insurmountable. Until they fully come
out, most men live double lives, and the weight of the lies can be
unassailable. Some suicide rather than dealing with it. I know of three
such cases this year. Their mothers are devastated. Hopefully, society
    is getting better at acceptance.

Didn't understand the anger, and then being closeted.

Don't really understand how he was sooooo angry when his friend "came out" and then he was soooo comfortable with the guy he was seeing just come over to him and talk to him and touch his face.
I think it could have been better if the last part was written differently. Rather than him being at the bar he probably should have been with his friends when the guy sees him walks over to him and kisses him without warning and outs him like that. Or something like that.

💜 In UK, one doesn’t like ice in the drinks the way one does in USA. But, beyond that, that’s your way of saying you’re saying you’re not homophobic, which is great! ❤️ However, that’s begging the question of Ollie’s self-hatred, & pretending to be homophobic, so that his mates won’t find out he’s gay. 🧡 I realise it’s just a fictional film, but one hopes the chaps represented by the fictional Ollie can quit promoting homophobia by pretending to be homophobic. 💛 One also hopes more chaps can be supportive of their gay friends, & tell their homophobic friends that their homophobia is unreasonable. 💚 Very well-done film, lads!!! 💙

Dialogue is bizarrely out of context. This is no more how friends in a pub talk than if they had discussed Swan Lakes second pas de deux. Well meant and sincere, well acted, just opening half scrip is woeful.

So many straights coming out of the attic now. Don't they know their place in society? Don't ask...don't tell. Is what I suggest for these straights to practice, don't reveal your shame, & I won't ask. I don't want to hear their issues. Not my issue they were born heterosexual.
