The joys of an owner operator is you can usually tell somethings up before it properly blows its load. Pity about its timing but great to see you ripping into it👍
Fair play to you, to be there at 6pm of an evening planning to have a transmission replaced by next morning during silage season shows some dedication. I don't run machinery, probably for the best as I'd be parking it up and looking to hire a yoke to keep me going 😀Great videos as always.
I think us farmers r great people but some of us not good in forward planning I wirk on my family’s 1400 acre arable farm in Worcestershire we replace tractors on 4 to 5 year cycle we used tobe deer but mechanical troubles move to fent all in 280 bhp and what a difference apart from adblue issues lol. U need to have a forward plan for machinery replacement
I own the same tractor. I have a problem with the drive shaft seal for the hydraulic pump on the transmission side - you can see it at 3:50. Oil is escaping from the flange between the hydraulic pump and the gearbox. It's gear oil - I also assume that the drive shaft seal is worn out. Is it possible to change the shaft sealing only by removing the hydraulicpump-or is it necessary to Open the gearbox? Habe you instructions in a PDF how to change this? Or can you send Detail Photo of your spare gearbox?
I’ve only just started watching this video but your time frame for a transmission change is amazing 🤞 Brilliant video 👍. I’d love your technical abilities 🤔
For a man that says your not a mechanic you sure know your stuff fair play to you
Love the workshop videos, really interesting how these jobs are done, credit to you for tackling them yourself
Great video, fare play to you for tackling that job yourself

Very interesting. Good job that you had that spare transmission.
Looks like you caught it in time.
Keen to hear what the final issue is, we have a 170 I need to strip with similar problems
Wise man hears a problem and checks it saves a good few grand on bits
You know your stuff👍
How many hours work has the tractor done.
How do you have such a wealth of mechanical knowledge
How many hours was on her before it went

Great Video!
Tengo un farmall 90 jx y se quebro una electrovalvula de solenoide y no consigo la pieza
Have just purchased a cvx 160 with 4,500hrs and is showing a couple of codes ( SGR, EDC ) do you know if these are major codes?
Can you upgrade to the newer planetary when you repair this?
Where’s this boy gone ? Hope all ok ‼️
Would it be cheaper trade that gearbox in again a brand new one than rebuild it?
Great video, are you able to refurb it yourself

Hello, how many hours it has done before broke?
