Ever since Nick Collins joined the 15 Division as a rookie in season 3, he’s been a bit of a mystery. We know he was in Afghanistan, we know he backed out of a marriage to Gail Peck, and we know that later he went undercover and started dating Andy McNally. However, it's only now that we are starting to learn that Nick may have had a difficult childhood. But despite his past, Nick constantly shows how determined he is to help people and prove he's dedicated to the job.
