    This is medicinal for so many women who suffer from endometriosis and other debilitating health conditions, as described by the multitude of women who suffer with this condition. As well, Many countries have had this available over the counter for decades already.

      This is birth control, not an abortion pill. This pill prevents pregnancy from occurring, rather than terminating pregnancy.

      This should have been done to prevent abortions of unwanted children instead of creating laws banning abortions. Abortion is apart of female healthcare when pregnancies go wrong.

      And ibuprofen can make you throw up blood if you take too much or mix it with alcohol or certain meds. Yet it's available over the counter as well because as long as you read the medication info and take it correctly the benefit generally outweighs the risk. All medications have the potential for side effects and if someone is aware of that and decides to take it anyway, there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to.

      I don’t. This is contraception. I’m against abortion (mostly) because I don’t think it’s hard to and avoid getting pregnant. But I’m not against any method contraception. I honestly don’t mind the plan B pill. That’s like getting a 48hr extension on birth control. Lol. And really people can do whatever they want but to me once they get past 3 months it starts kinda feels a little murdery. So I really didn’t have much to say about the matter until they started talking about 6 and 9 month abortions. When something can survive without a womb. That’s a person.

      There are elements of the right wing who have signaled that they want to go after contraception. I think that's insane, but that's where we are in this country. If you think the Roe vs. Wade/Dobbs decision was controversial, imagine Griswald vs. Connecticut getting overturned by the Supreme Court. Birth control probably has an 85 percent approval rating in this country, but there are hardcore elements of the right wing (including some hardcore catholics) who would like to get rid of that. That tiny minority has a lot of influence with republican politicians.

      Second, now If that was the case the doctor would then make a judge base on who has the greatest chance of survival (normally this would be the mother) but he would have to be able to justify the decision. it would not be based on anything else.

      What exactly is your problem with abortion specifically? I know a fair bit of the science. If it has anything to do with the fetus suffering, the capacity to feel pain doesn't develop until 24-25 weeks, or the start of the third trimester more or less. The nerve cells simply are not developed yet.

    I’m 42 years old and went to pharmacies when I was in high school to totally get safe birth control (We also went to Bed Bath and Beyond). We got it. Does this worthless FDA not think about what we have all gone through in our lives, or do the just want to manipulate the next generation?
