I saw in an interview after Punk's Dead came out that they were worried it was a bit too hard/heavy but then people loved it. Nice to see they took that feedback to heart and released some more heavy shit.

Struggling to tell what’s my favourite between this and punks dead. This does absolutely slap and I’m loving the more metal kinda direction you’s are heading, but I think punks dead is just too classic! Long live Soft Play
Punks Dead is a 10/10 comeback and was automatically a top 5 tune from these (top 3 in my eyes)
This is insane and a great follow-up, but Punks Dead is hard to beat
I actually like this one more (even heavier!) but last one was sick af too!!
I'd say punks dead just based on the pure attitude of it. But they're both great!

Hey John...longwinded post (sorry) coming. Just read some comments below an article about Yungblud in Fox News and the fact he's going to kick off his own festival in UK Aug 11 bringing in Li'l Yachty, Nessa Barrett, The Damned and a few more. One commentor pissed all over Yungblud and I doubted, like my self, the guy had never listened to a track. So, came to CZcams and fired up a random song. Gave 'Lowlife' a listen, and can say that the guy is a bit of a Wordsmith, so is Li'l Yachty's song 'On The Radar' even though I'm not into rap. Article mentioned various acts, and here I am commenting on SoftPlay.
Glad to see I'm not the only 63 yr old that likes this. Gonna give the 'Punk' song a listen next.
