    I have the JHM cat back system & i couldn't be any happier. JHM is one of the few that have the 2.75" diameter which gives it that more throatier deep sound as opposed to the high rasps & cracking of most of the other setups

    Resonator delete is the best for me now

    Sounds good, I like the way mine sounds stock (at least for now).

    This is EXACTLY the video I was looking for! Exhaust note is the most important aspect of any performance car to me. Do the JHM headers require an engine-out installation? It sounds pricey

      hey sorry man for the late reply. The headers DO require an engine out service. Previous owner had the headers and lightweight flywheel installed.

    A fellow RS5 (2013 Sepang Blue here in Dallas) owner wants to know… Where in the heck did you find an Akrapovic exhaust for purchase? I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Thanks in advance!

      i found it on audizine! Someone sold his suzuka gray rs5 and had this for sale. No one had sent him any payment for weeks so I called, sent him my payment and secured it. There's a sepang rs5 for sale on autotrader right now private party. It has an Akrapovic exhaust and he's also providing the stock sports exhaust. I would message him with no intention of buying his car, but just as an interest in having him part out with the Akrapovic and selling it to you. He's actually located in Richardson, Texas so maybe you can drive down to him.

      @@boba_driver Thanks for the info sir! I recently just tried the ECS Xpipe and I like it a lot but there is something to be desired. I definitely want to try the Akrapovic. Also thanks for this video, I have a gigantic playlist full of RS5 exhaust sounds, but hearing consistent audio with different setups and the same audio equipment in the same situations is super helpful for someone like me still looking for my perfect sound.

      @@onlydavid glad i could help. I should've done the ECS X pipe first. I think I would've been content with the sound and the price point. Can't beat that high pitched, high revving tone for like $300

    Are the revs in the same order as the start ups? I'm about to pull the trigger on the jhm downpipe xpipe combo. Really liking the sound in these clips. But that akrapovic...good lord that's awesome.

      Ah, we just spoke on instagram. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Hope you got the answers you were looking for.

    I got the Non resonated Capristo paired up with Eventuri for mine. How loud is the chatter from that flywheel?

    • @boba_driver
      @boba_driver  Před rokem

      it's pretty noticeable cause people walk by and stare. You will only hear it with the car in Park or Neutral. And you will also feel the car grabbing a lot more when trying to get going. You will hear a clickity clackity from it.

    Is there any noticeable performance difference with any of them compared to stock. I'm thinking of getting the armytrix exhaust myself.

    • @boba_driver

      honestly, the akra is just lighter because it's titanium but the rs5 is still a pig with low torque. I would suggest you pick the exhaust with the sound and tone you desire and roll with that. There are better performance mods out there that provide a bigger advantage like a tune, lightweight or lightweight flywheel. Intake and exhaust barely do anything. It's more for the sound. Then there's carbon ceramics and lighter wheels that reduce rotational mass.
