Sakurai made the perfect decision with making Steve's moveset this complex.

Around the smash world alot of people think he shouldnt have 3 moves in one B button
Also the mechanics given makes him really broken when your opponent is offstage
He might be nerfed

Assist trophies don't deconfirm DLC in the same way as actual DLC.

This character got biomes, every stage reworked, complex moveset, AND cursed mii costumes. Steve is now my favorite character for what he has done to the game and how GOOD his moveset looking

Well a version of him. Herobrine's eyes are fully white, while if you look closely Steve's eyes turn into a shade of yellow.

You know when I heard Steve was getting in smash I thought it was a cash grab- but if it is, god it’s a well-done cash grab...he doesn’t look like an easy wins character- he has the potential to be a royal pain... but you actually need skill to reach that point. I respect that.

I mean, yeah some characters who have good recoverys can dodge all that but if you chose someone who has a bad-ish recoverys like Pikachus,almost every sword character and Little Mac, theyre gonna get royally fucked by steves edgeguading potential. But, lets face it, thats only gonna be like, 4 steves that youll encounter when you encounter during when he gets released.

Sort of curious what combos Steve has, seems like he would be very campy at the beginning, and is definitely able to abuse certain stages.

Bomberman was deconfirmed since the game's first direct.
He is an Assist Trophy.
They added him as a costume,cause he already was an Assist Trophy.
If anything, this just shows assists can get into the game in some form, since he became a costume and you can technically play him.
