    When we do a storyboard for our show, we usually share our individual notes, then mix them up into a program. I just found a relaxing way to write my portions, using our small SUV, and enjoy the solitude that it takes to think. You did an outstanding job here, presenting this add-on camping tent to this SUV. I'm going to show this video to my partner, and see if he will find it to be the perfect relaxer for script composing just like I will.

    I'm glad you did an unboxing the SUV attachment tent! I wondered if they would be worth it and it looks as though they are. I take pool noodles cut them in half and split them down the center to put on my guidelines so I'm not always tripping over them. I'm a Klutz when it comes to paying attention as to where the lines have been placed😉.

      So far we really like it, great idea with the pool noodles. We set it up and took it down 5 nights in a row and was no issue at all. thanks for taking the time to comment.

      @@twocampinggurus5555 i got one fir my honda element. I want to tell you this tent needs two people to set that thang up. I have a picture of mine. It give you a lot more room. I set it up twice. The first time it took me doing it all buy my 5'3". Self.in front of my house. The second time was at a camp ground. I guess ill have to take someone camping with me it took me just about let me say it real Loud 2 Hours in the heat in a camp ground. The problem was with the (2) 100 feet poles you have to get to stand alone. If I can master that it would only take me 1/2 hour to set it up. Anyhow anyway if I get it set up I'll have a good looking water proof tent because I scotch guarded it the first time I set it up. I'm glad i did because it did rain. I took it down the next day, because the forecast was for more rain I rolled it gently up throw it in the back of my Honda Element that was labor day weekend. I'll take it out sweep it on a sunny spring day and put it back in the sack it came out of. Did i tell you I really love camping.🚙

    The high ceiling make it feel really spacious. Thanks for the demo! I as ondering if it could be unhooked from vehicle and zipped which it can, although they say you can't remove the over car section but that's ok with me, just want to have the tent zipped.

    • @twocampinggurus5555
      @twocampinggurus5555  Před 2 lety

      Yes that’s true the 10th section that goes to the car will stay intact but you can zip it up so to seal out bugs and have a freestanding tent. I’m glad you like the video and thank you for taking the time to comment.

    I just purchased this tent to take to a music festival next month. I was thrilled to see this video to get a sneak peak of what I’ve already ordered. 😅 The size looks great and I’m very reassured I can close my hatch to lock my valuables inside when we’re at the festival grounds without altering the tent set-up. Do it seems like there will be plenty of room in the floor of the tent for a “full” size air mattress? Thanks again for the great video!

    Maybe some rectangular magnets would help that seal on the car. I think the material would protect the paint.

    Wondering if this could be attached to the side of my minivan? Great vid!

    • @twocampinggurus5555
      @twocampinggurus5555  Před 2 lety

      I’m sure you can find a way to attach the straps over the top of the minivan so you can access the car through the side door. I’m not 100% sure but I bet it would work if the van does not have a back door. Otherwise if you do have a hatchback I don’t see any reason why it would not fit as quite a bit of play in the sleeves it goes around the vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for the question and taking the time to comment.

    I got mine today and could not do it by myself. With my sons help, we put it up four times. So, I will only use this when my kids want to come.
    My other tent I can setup myself and it’s a suv tent. I just don’t have it yet. I will use this when I solo car camp
    How easy was the rain fly to get on? This tent in super tall.

    • @twocampinggurus5555
      @twocampinggurus5555  Před 3 lety

      Yes it would be difficult to set up by yourself I think it could be done but not easily. As far as the rain fly I did put it on one time by myself by throwing it up over the top and then going around, however is much easier with two people. Thanks for taking the time to comment and happy camping.

    • @twocampinggurus5555
      @twocampinggurus5555  Před 2 lety +3

      It would if the lights stayed on, however the light shut off automatically or we can turn them on and off manually. We had lanterns with us as well for lighting. Great question.

    Any for one person to do this by themselves? I am so frustrated. Followed directions, one of the fiberglass pole sections snapped. So basically my $300 tent is useless.

    • @twocampinggurus5555
      @twocampinggurus5555  Před 2 lety +1

      It can be done by yourself but it certainly is much easier with two people. Also I’m very sorry to hear that one of your polls broke. Not that it’s what you want to do but I’m sure you can get replacement parts so the tent is not completely useless.

    • @twocampinggurus5555
      @twocampinggurus5555  Před rokem

      My lights shut off automatically after a certain amount of time so in my case no, however if you have a vehicle that the lights don’t shut off by themselves you can either shut them off manually if that’s an option or I would not leave the door open all day.
