Possible !! I own generation 1 speed 400, Our instrument console had lot of error with respect to distance to empty, speed, and real time mileage. However those errors got rectified with new update. So I presume whoever bought bike after October should be getting better calibrated bike. Or if anyone of you own generation 1 bike like me can get their software updated.

@@rishi4828Dono speed aur scrambler mein same engine h. Scrambler mein bas gearing thori taller h and handle bars upright h and suspension zyada deeper h for better off-roading. But overall mid-range torque same h.
It is true, Apache 310 high revving engine h, high end performance ke liye whereas triumph mid-range performance ke liye h

Triumph engine is more tractable in slow speeds specially in cities❤
Tvs engines have glide through traffic, which does not need any acceleration and it doesn't stall, the bike keeps moving in certain speed without needing of any use of gear or clutch or accelerator, best for slow paced traffic
bro i did a test drive on both bikes before buying triumph,apache 200 rtr may have this technology as it worked perfectly in traffic but 310 stalled multiple times

Bro except twin cylinder no other 300cc bikes are competing TVS & BMW's 310 engine, the only competition is duke/rc 390 engine, don't go near asking about Honda's 300cc engine 😂, they are really not for speed and performance
well if you see at rpm truimph was not at full at launch but apache was hope it was helpful

I think somehow these people missed the basic points about rev limiter and power optimisation. They should have compared duke 390 with apache or dominar with apache. Speed 400 is more like a relaxed machine which is not designed or optimised to be driven like a quick runner.

because it's a 400cc version of the original parallel twin cylinder "speed twin", which is faster, quicker accelerating and more fun version of the boneville even after having the same engine, and not a naked sports bike 🤦🤦

And .. I have been riding the Triumph 400.. It's an amazing bike ❤❤❤
The only issue is.. After 90-100kmph in 6th gear, the sound and vibration keeps on increasing.
Else the bike has a very very very good amount of torque and it's a powerful bike..very easy to maneuver.. It's nimble and agile ❤❤❤
Also, I have been using the Honda CBR 150 for 11 years.. even now the Honda is much more refined..[yeah it is a 150 cc] engine, so it would sound more refined for sure 😅 and Hondas are known for refinement
But still, I didn't mean Triumph has vibrations in a bad way...! it's a good bike 😍

What are your views about pillion comfort. My better half is surely gonna join for rides not very long but 6-10 hour rides are surely gonna happen. So what are your pillion views on speed 400. Torque is surely more, gonna help in ghaat sections.
@lordsalvatore3846 yes.. the seats a wide and long enough for a pillion as well.
It's very comfortable as compared to many other bikes 🏍 that I have ridden [like interceptor ,normal Duke and Duke adventure, Honda CBR, Pulsar, Bullet 350]
Also the suspension is apt and perfect for all kinds of rides (it's an all rounder )

I see other drag races of Speed 400 vs Rtr 310 in CZcams, clearly Speed 400 is faster😂.... I don't know why VEER JI is so much partial about his RTR 310....you gonna accept it bro, speed 400 is faster in acceleration & also top end.
Speed 400 has 17 kmph difference when compared to gps speed. So the real speed of speed 400 is around 145-150kmph
In those other videos the bike which they used was locked in urban mode in which rpm was locked at 8k and Max speed was locked at 138kmph you don't know that I guess 😂. here in this video veerji used sports or track mode in which the rpm goes upto 10700 and the speed upto 162kmph. The triumph is losing because it has more speedo error 17+ kmph speedo error. Even when triumph will indicate 170kmph in its integrated needle speedometer in reality it barely reaches 152kmph. Checkout some videos about triumph 400 speedo error in CZcams,it's already available.
