Skewed House | Studio Lagom
From Architects: An interesting book, an engaging thought, a flight of fantasy or nothingness… A private sanctuary that is the garden at Skewed House. Solitude in the midst of golden-hearted Champa blossoms; unwinding to the tune of the wind chime.
Material shifts and elevational modulation establishes the programmatic changes within the Skewed House. A nine-foot exposed concrete cantilever marks the master bedroom, a strategic communication about family hierarchy. Similarly, an L-shaped glass inset reveals the internal free standing Pooja tower, reiterating the significance of spirituality.
A perfect blend of peace and modernization
Excellent blend of modern and traditional norms.. if it's according to vaastu then simply it's a treasure...

One of the best designs I have been seen.
It's speechless and I have loved the way how u ppl potraited it. It's looks luxurious and at the same time so Eco friendly. The minute things have been detailed especially the view from the dinning hall.
We have planning on investing on an apartment but this changed my mind.
Once again it's really an incredible work.

The house is beautiful but overlooked by high rise buildings....planting trees around the property should do the trick.....also I would have added a covered swimming pool since it can get very very hot pre-monsoon and summer time.....I know as I lived in India for almost 30 years 😀

@@vrindaunnikrishnan So houses should be in towers where 1000 ppl live in a small plot of area? With no trees and producing lot of sewage and consuming lots of water. No. Houses should be in at least 1/4 acre. Do not over crowd and pollute land. Each house should be like a mini forest with lots of trees like in the olden days.
