Nah, first part might be Argenti 2nd might be Huohuo in 2.3 which leaves Ruan Mei for 2.4
At worst they should run Ruan Mei in part 2 of 2.3 so you can save more but I hope they don't directly run her with FF 😭
@_Christian91 yes it's bcz when people need 2 characters in one patch, they won't have much steller jades saved up(also losing 50-50 makes much difference) and eventually go for credit card as compared to two must pull character in different patches.

I think she is f2p friendly. Don’t make the same mistake that was made with acheron. 3 of her best supports are asta, harmony trialblazer, and RM. 2 of which are free characters. And for sustain you don’t need aventurine she has a ton of dmg reduction so a healer like gallagher will do fine. Especially since he’s fire and buffs break damage
Not to mention her damage floor will probably be insane just like acheron’s which in itself is automatically good for f2p. One of her best lightcones are free as well from herta shop

@@gab_gerloff i think healer is probably better since she consumes a lot of hp to get energy, adventurine can also work but i feel like its a bit riskier cuz if you somehow ran out of shield u r basically dead. plus gallagher scales with break effect, extra dmg and heal is nice

Also one of her great F2P LC is the fall of an aeon herta LC cause it lessens the required atk to build on her relics so you could focus on BE and also the dmg bonus when breaking is useful for a breaking character like firefly. I will also use Ruan mei, HTB, and gallagher with her since all of them synergizes with each other.

My only worry with firefly is that similarly to xueyi you will have to build her for 4 different stats (those being atk, BE, and CR,CD)
She looks like doesn't need that much crit. Have to wait and see .

I feel like Firefly’s BiS team for now will be Firefly, Ruan Mei, Harmony TB and Gallagher. The new relics will benefit Firefly and Gallagher the most giving them even more break effect and firefly can when not in her Sam state be healed by Besotted from Gallagher and also the enemies receiving more break damage. With Ruan Mei she will also have 100% weakness break efficiency (150% if you have her e6) and even more break damage. Lastly Harmony Trailblazer who puts the Harm in Harmony and allows Firefly to keep on putting out her insane numbers with their super break effect
Weakness break efficiency its not like thoughness dmg reduce firefly increase her TDR by 50% not her break efficiency
@@Hajime625what on earth are u talking about? The only number he talked about is the weakness break efficiency. We clearly dont know her toughness reducing dmg atm. Plus weakness break efficiency stacks up additively. U wouldve noticed this if u have the nihility 2 star blessing paired with ruan mei.
What are the new relics?
This looks like really strong synergy with Ruan Mei, which kinda sucks, because I wanted to pull Robin :D. Now it seems like saving for Ruan Mei's rerun is better.

Depends if you have either of them. Robin’s kit is universal but leans towards FUA support. Ruan Mei leans more towards breakers.

If you are gonna use sam you also must use harmony mc.and you also need atleast one sustainer. And who is the best sustainer for sam? Gallager ofc(atleast E2 btw)Sam and harmony mc wants a lot of skill points. So in that case sparkle is also a great support
I try calculate all BE you can get. With Ruan Mei and Harmonay MC in my team and good relics I can give SAM 380% BE with only that 4 star LC
my harmony MC has 400% BE in combat rn so it can go higher

With the supports i have acces to i wont need any be substats on my relics unless i have less then 2800 atk if i have 2700 i will only need 1 be sub so my firefly wont be super tough to build, but thats just me

So I did the numbers, firefly without LC and 1 BE main stat orb will be lacking 80% BE, something to make up for in BE stats from sub stats, with LC that is down to 20%, also turns out a lot of her damage is scaling off of BE and ATK, I think this is a unit they dont want us to build CR/CD for, which would make her amazingly f2p friendly, no relic hell and all that .
But if you did want those stats, well pull the LC, get a piece with 20% BE, build the rest with atk body and rope since she needs no energy, and focus on CR/CD, you can at least get a good 50/120 without much trying im sure but make sure to get 3400 atk first, that is very important.
Will she do with preservation unit like fu xuan or aventurine?
I want both boothill and Sam. So imma wait til they both get rerun then decide which to pull.

For me, i rather to pull firefly E0 and Ruan mei E0. I mean, yes Firefly E1 would be amazing, but Ruan Mei is an amazing support for many team comps. Especially when there is meta break effect in the future.

I think the Flames Afar light cone could be of good use for Firefly, especially for the F2P players.
What it does is: When the wearer’s cumulative HP loss in one turn/attack is equal to/greater than 25%, you heal back some lost HP and increases your attack (see the actual thing for greater details). Given that her regular skill would take away her HP, she heals back and deals more damage, thus adding more attack to her. It’d pair well with her Ultimate, so she could just trigger an enhanced skill and proceed to heal back what was lost.
I’d like to see what other people’s thoughts are about it.
Flames Afar is really useless on her. The heal is useless and its only a dmg dealt buff, no %atk buff. Therefore, there isn't really a case why you should play it at all. Only viable 4* is Indelible Promise, that's it. Apart from that, ofc sign. LC and Fall of Aeon (which actually has a %ATK buff contributing to the stat requirements)
the only thing i that seem kinda weak is her light cone dont get me wrong its not bad but i feel like misha lightcone almost can do the same tho she cant use the crit rate that well
If we talking about the raw dmg, misha's lc is way behind.
1) crit rate procs when she uses her skill on non enhanced form
2) when entering enhanced form, she advances herself by 100% so less turn to use the crit buff
3) Firefly LC has the highest base atk in the game making it easier to reach her atk requirement.
4) 15% from Crushed is Vulnerability dmg. Its straight up 15% final dmg increase
Should I skip boothil and get Firefly with her Sig lightcone or should I get Both boothil and Firefly ? I mean is Firefly powercreeping Boothil ?
Boothill and Sam have different specializations, it all comes down to what your team needs. Boothill is a boss killer while Sam can do some AoE 👀 Both have their own pros and cons as well. Although similar, Boothill should be easier to build since he mainly focuses on Break DMG while Sam has to balance multiple status at the same time, which in reality might be difficult
Great video, why crit stats? Is very clear that firefly is a break effect character and BE doesn't scale with Crit stats as far as I know, so that's why in her entire kit crit is nowhere to be found, so a attack body with goods subs stats could be better to reach 3400
I've seen BE effect Firefly showcase and with no crit stats hits very hard

not that much unless u get god rolls if u use sparkle as u will have to max attack break effect some crit rate and i guess speed. but sparkle seems clunky with firefly or at least a nightmare to speedtune probably, we will have to see when she releases to be honest
Nope, she centers on breaking enemies so ruan mei is her best support. She already has action advance on her kit.

If Firefly banner runs with Ruan Mei banner, which LC worth more? FF signature LC or RM signature LC?

yeah, i know, 4 stat is pretty hard to get, for me personally i will try to prioritize ATK , BE, and Crit rate first, and then Crit DMG for the rest
@@PityGamers Is crit really important, though? If she can break any weakness AND implant fire weakness, it’s pretty self-explanatory that she won’t need crit.
However, maybe that’s where her signature light-cone comes in, converting Break effect and Break efficiency into CR and CD respectively?
She can go with 0 CRIT and still doing the most damage among destruction characters

Full BE is the Best build if you are using her Sig LC or Misha's, no doubt at that, you want ATK body because of their low ATK. but how about Aeon?
Attention:
1. I’m not saying how you should build your FF, it’s just my personal findings and how I would built her.
2. I lose my Ruan's 50/50 so I can’t pull FF’s sig, hence I only calc Aeon. (i need the pull for Ruan re-run)
3. Team will be FF, HMC, Ruan, Gallgher.
4. it may seem sweaty but I only do calculation for fun. I also gain so much knowledge in math, excel, and game mechanic because of our cute lil silly kamen rider criminal
Let’s start:
with Aeon, FF can already reach 3017,3 ATK with crit body, so that's 24 BE and 500 ATK less compared to ATK body (3572,8 ATK). but...
from my testing, past 360 BE (with Aeon and buffs), Hyper BE needs 20 more BE to do the same dmg as 50 CDM hybrid.
Which means both build is similar in damage already because ATK body will always have 24 more BE than Crit body (except if you are using ATK subs on Crit body) but using crit Body also allows Firefly to have more growth because hybrid fly haven't capped her ATK and BE from A4 yet.
TLDR:
360 BE + 50 CDM + 3000 ATK = 384 BE + 3500 ATK
reaching 146 (with buff) is also possible without roll if you spread your subs across 5 relic and using spd boots and the new planar (6%) (unrolled sub is flat 2 spd) (Ruan’s 10% buff)
TLDR:
92 * (1 + 10% + 6%) + 25 + 5 + (2 * 5) = 146,72 SPD
if you are using Aeon, build crit Rate subs if ATK body or ATK subs if crit body.
before you ask me, yes, I counted everything from ruan mei 32 dmg boost, 25 type pen, 50 break efficiency, new relic 18 def shre. Gallagher debuff, aeon 24 DMG dmg boost, initial break, firefly ult 12 dmg receive, on and on. (I’m so sane about her)
So both of them is really similar in performance (0.something difference), here is the pros and cons:
50cdm fly:
Pros: higher Skill and EnSkill dmg up to 25% more (not summed with hyper break), Still deals good dmg when enemy toughness up or HMC’s ult down, stronger in longer fights, more room for growth. (ATK, BE, CDM, CDR all going to benefit you)
Cons: can’t clear as fast as hyper, initial break is weaker, gamba rate (“if it’s not 100 then it’s 50/50” said every person ever.)
Note: In a single rotation, dmg still pretty much the same as hyper BE. Not 100 Rate = 50/50 Rate.
ATK bod Fly:
Pros: Faster Clear, Initial break Supremacy, consistent dmg.
Cons: Lower Skill and EnSkill DMG, lower dmg when HMC’s ult down or Enemy toughness is up, please mind your Initial Break trigger, less room for growth (can only stack BE with oversaturated ATK stats).
Note: In a single rotation, dmg still pretty much the same as 50CDM. hyper BE has really strong Initial break, if you go hyper be and let your teammates broke the enemy.... what are you doing?
TLDR:
Hybrid fly: more potential in subs, support, and future investment as of V2
Hyper BE FLY: Bonker raw damage and stronger as of V2
Remember… this is using Aeon. If you are pulling for her Sig or has S5 Misha’s, go full BE. Crit can’t catch up with how much BE value these two give you. Yes, even with Misha’s Crit rate buff won’t help.

Nice to see some early calcs. I should have enough for c1 and LC, but my Fall of an Aeon is currently vacant at s5, if they don't buff the signature I don't think I'll be pulling for it.
Animation-wise, Firefly/SAM looks like a combination of Kamen Rider and Gundam. I think we will see her as Firefly in the overworld, until she uses her technique to transform into SAM. In her splash art and at the end of the 2.1 main story, after she transforms back from SAM into Firefly, she holds a transformation device in her right hand, a la Kamen Rider, Super Sentai/Power Rangers, Ultraman, and other Japanese tokusatsu series. And we know how much HoYoverse developers are fans of Japanese pop culture and have frequently admitted to being influenced and inspired by it, from the Japanese anime style character designs on downward.
Whether Firefly is shown transforming into SAM and vice versa during battle remains to be seen. Maybe. Or maybe not. Beta will soon tell us. One can imagine in MoC, PF, SU, etc., she appears as Firefly until she uses her technique. It would be nice to hear Firefly in the JP dub say Kamen Rider's "Henshin!" ("Transform!")😮

E6? HMC (S5 memories of the past)
E1? Ruan Mei (dont have her, getting her on rerun, S1 sig lc probably)
E2? Firefly (probably S1 sig lc)

Penacony is really is a place where you break enemies instead of deleting them
Worth noting kn her third trace is during Combustion State she will have the extra 50% so if you have 200/310% that will push you over for the def ignore. Plus with Trace 1 and her passive traces giving up to 97% it comes down to 212.7 for the max effect (or 102.7 for the base 30%).
Of course off the info we have now. I expect her numbers to get tuned at least once or twice over the course of the beta.
There is a difference between weakness break efficiency and break effect she get weakness break efficiency not break effect so you will need 360-97=263 if trailblazer gives 100 and rm gives 20 then you will need 143 break effect with her lc you will need 83 and with rope and new set you will need 1 break effect .if you have ruan mei, harmony trail blazer and her lc then you need almost no break effect at all so you can go all crit and attack
I wasnt going to get her because I don't like characters that rely on enemies having their elemental weakness (due to break effect). With the enhanced skill and technique, I'm definitely getting her now.
What lightcone would be good on her?
sign > Fall of Aeon > Indelible Promise. Rest really useless and never recomanded

There are plenty of sources of DoT and tick damage that could kill her if she's low enough at the start of an action before she gets healed by her attacks.
I've seen it happen with Blade sometimes.

Just play her with a crit dmg supporter like sparkle she is meant to build for break effect and atk not crit rate and crit dmg you will not hit a crazy amount of crit rate and crit dmg

There is alot of misunderstanding her
1 - firefly just scale on break effect she's not doing any break dmg except the initial break
2- she will be heavly depend on harmony mc to trigger break to those already weakness broke
3- the super break buff from harmony mc ult scal on thoughness dmg reduce and firefly has only a bonus of 50%
4- boothill from his talent can trigger break dmg to enemies already broke and with this talent he can achieve 150% thoughness dmg reduce
So theoricly with harmony mc he can tirigger the highest break dmg numbers even way higher than firefly
So in conclusion firefly hardly depend on harmony mc and she cant be playable with out him if you build her as a breaker unit otherwise you will need to put crits on her .
So for her relics, hp,atk, crit rate, atk, fire boost, BE and look for crit sun stats assuming I get her lightcone
So best team for her is Ruan Mei, harmony MC and huohuo?
